Please Stop Stabbing Me

In the recent thread on corsairs, it seems that people are in love with them as the best melee big block for Dark Elves, with witch elves being the second best, leavig warriors alone to be sacrificed for power dice by the sorceress.

I've been running a block of 40 warriors for awhile with great success, but after running the numbers, I'll be shifting to the super block of 60.

Point for point, warriors go toe to toe with corsairs, and trade model for model (though at a 10 pt to 7 point trade in the warriors advantage).
Warriors can even go toe to toe with witch elves, again, with the cheaper warriors ensuring enough bodies to be fully effective for the first round.

What surprised me was seeing what a huge block of warriors would (mathhammer) do to khorne marauders, ogre bulls, iron guts, and so on. While witches have more hitting power vs T4 opponents, warriors are still hitting hard enough, and aren't forced to get pulled out of position by fernzy.

So please, stop stabbing your poor warriors for just power dice.

-Matt

It depends Matt sometimes it is worth stabbing a warrior or 2.

But ya I usually have more issues with them than with corsairs.

As you said the frenzy test can pull them out of position.

Still I would say every now and then stab a guy but dont do it to often.
