That means just the models it's effecting (ie. the immortals) gain the USRs.

Furious charge is on a model by model basis so the lord does not benefit from it.

Counter-attack however, is a unit special rule (ie. it uses the phrase "the unit" instead of "models"). It is also one of the rules that is not lost when an IC without it joins a unit with it.

Counter-attack then says "the entire unit gains +1 attack as if it too had assaulted that turn" so the lord gets a bonus attack from counter-attack.
