The profile for Ghost Arks clearly states that only Warriors, Lord, Overlords, and Crypteks may embark in the Transport. However, the Lord and Cryptek profile say nothing about being able to choose (or not being able to choose) a dedicated transport.

I think RAI is that that only applies to Overlords/lords/Crypteks attached to other units. Unless I'm missing something that said if it doesn't have the option, it can't take one at all. - Overlords, lords, and crypteks may ride in a ghost ark...either attached to a warrior squad or they can hijack the arc once it's on the table.

- Overlords, lords, and crypteks may not start the game in a ghost arc, unless they are attached to a warrior squad.
