Pretty cookie cutter but I know but it works well enough. Uriah takes his conclave and wastes some TEQs, Celestine is my troubleshooter/DISTRACTION CARNIFEX dominions scout out and melt their tanks, exorcists lob shots at whatever they missed, and BSS sit on objectives mocking me with their force org mandated existence. So Questions:

1) Combi-Weapons on BSS, good idea? They tend to get one flame off before getting locked into CC and killed, so I may as well only pay for one.
2) Can we get away with no extra armor? All are vehicles seem to be scouting, expendable, or nowhere near the enemy. Its a nice way to shave ~75 points off the army.
3) How should I distribute my flamers/meltas. I feel like I'm overspecializing in anti-tank.
4) How worried should I be about hemorrhaging killpoints? Should I try to mitigate it? Or just embrace it?
5) Have 65 points leftover. On the other hand, I would probably trade Celestine for another Exorcist. You'll have to tweek the list a bit to do that.

The Battle Sister squads can't have heavy flamer and multi-melta. Melta guns are the same price as multi-meltas, so there's no other changes needed for this. If you want the multi-melta, you won't want any type of flamer, so you'll probably want a melta gun for the other slot, which will return you 10 points each.

Another thing to consider; try flamers with your Dominions. Yea I really should have more troops, but this goes back to my earlier question. Far as I can tell sisters are just bad at objective babysitting and killpoints. I'm not sure how badly I want to accomodate their deficiencies versus just trying to steamroll over the enemy every game.

I can't defend this very well but I like Celestine. Between her power weapon, heavy flamer, and the giant "SHOOT ME" sign around her neck she can fill a lot of holes for a relatively low cost. Besides buying another exorcist would leave me with 6 dedicated anti-tank units in a 1500 point game. Is that necessary?

I definitely thought about this, but I'm really worried about generalizing what should be a one trick suicide unit. Has anybody else had experience with this?

You need hold only one more objective than your opponent. Your other units can deny him objectives. Dominions are just SO much better value than Battle Sisters. You're best bet is to take good units.

Exorcists are also super anti-MEQ or anti-TEQ. Is it necessary? Maybe not, but it sure helps.

Adding flamers makes the combination a two-trick suicide unit. The Immy takes care of the vehicles - along with the Exorcists - and the Dominions take care of troops. It makes the unit more versatile. With the twin-linking, Dominions can be effective against all sorts of troops, even Marines.

Combi's aren't bad, if you have the points. Extra armor is no longer good value. You can't have too much anti-tank, unless you don't have enough anti-infantry. Three Dominion squads and three Exorcists give you six, quality anti-tank units that can get the job done from turn one on.

There's no way to build a good Sister army without having a load of kill-points. Accept it.

As for your extra points, spread them out in your existing units. You aren't going to get another unit in this army at this points-level without doing something silly, like playing units on foot.

I`m not a fan of celestine, even for 115pts If you had 10 seraphim to chum her around then maybe. Have you considered kyinov? he`s good value and makes one of your point taking sisters squads fearless. He also allows you to get another enclave. Jacobus is a just got to take though.

The elites of this book are the worst i`ve ever seen. I`m glad you didnt take any either.

I`m sorry but i dont agree with this set-up of sisters anymore. after a few battles i found that they work best with all types of bolters and thier feet planted. 2xs-bolter, 1x h-bolter. They specialize in hot bolter death and are also good point takers. This also saves you 100ish pts. If you ever get a 3rd sister squad then i would heartily recommend your set-up with them but the first 2 definitely foot slogging.

Dominions only work in 10`s i`ve found. 3 scouting immo`s is nasty though but i prefer 10`s in rhino`s. These babies are the anti-tank in this army, the main sisters do the anti infantry very well. I`m aiming myself for 2x10 in rhino`s and 10 seraphim for the added optional anti infantry. I will say however that i do intend to have a dominion squad capable of taking flamers.

Now you`re talking with 3 exorcists. I love these things. I`ve got 2 and a big squad of h-bolter retributors. I like the mix-up but some times i do wish i had another exorcist.

Over all a good list but i still feel that all sisters units need to be 10 strong to be effective.
