Two very different tactics, both viable, both have strength and weakness. It can be hard to mix the two together at mid point ranges. (basically your opponent may be able to out range, or out alpha strike you) Call that 1k-2k points maybe. Both tactics can lead to very intense games of mass destruction. Win big or loose big! Let me amend that. I find it hard to mix at those point levels, because I don't own enough artillery.
