				<description><![CDATA[ FINALLY starting to get back into the game. Decided to go for Blood Angels; I like fast armies, I don't like spending $Texas on metal bawkses. Seemed to fit the bill.<br /> <br /> So, four lists. I have no idea what the local meta is; I just moved back to Memphis, and I only have two weeks before the first tournament, so not a lot of time to playtest.<br /> <br /> 1000pt:<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>: Librarian, Jump Pack - 125<br /> Elite: 2x Sanguinary Priest, Jump Pack, Hand Flamer, Power Weapon - 200<br /> Troops: 3x10 Assault Marines, 2 Meltaguns, Sgt w/Power Weapon & Meltabombs - 225 (675)<br /> <br /> Notes: Seems like a pretty solid core. Should probably playtest before I buy the models, but that won't be for two months, so I've got time to figure that one out. Flamers are being added at the last stage of escalation, so I figure I can sort of see where everyone else is going and go for more meltas if it's necessary.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ honor guard are waste of points,i recommend in the 2000 point list use mephiston, I also recommend a reclusiarch w/ jump pack instead of Librarians (in the lower point lists) ,and no need for so many assault marines in the higher point lists, use furioso dreds with blood talons in a drop pod, and i have found terminators in land raiders always demolish the enemies hope i have heleped  ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I like the list. I think the honour guard drain your points. Your goal is to get across the board with as many marines as possible by 2/3 turn - do two turns of killing then move to objectives (easy kills for kill points) With the honour guard you are reducing your ability to do this (they will be picked on and they can only be in one place at a time).<br /> <br /> You lack an ability to hold a 'home objective' if I were your opponent, I'd place as many objectives as possible close to (or in) your deployment zone - forcing you to hold back. Maybe replace one of you non-jump assault sqds for scouts and this will help you deal with this? (Although scouts are pretty average at holding an objective under pressure).<br /> <br /> Back at my first point, getting across the board - your tactic to your opponent is fairly obvious - fly straight at him (hug terrain) and then get stuck in for some killing... he will focus all his firepower at you, and probably deploy spread out or as far away as possible. The addition of a drop pod dread will really stuff around his ability to target your marines. Keep him low in points (as he will draw the same amount of fire no matter what is on him) and watch as most of your opponents high strength weapons waste a turn blasting at your dread (who might survive)...only to be reminded that your real tactic was to swarm him with assault marines.<br /> <br /> Flamers are great for getting troops in cover (which will be a common event) but also for transport popped troops. <br /> <br /> Hope that helps?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ List one is a great start, except I think that Power Fists are pretty mandatory in Assault Squads, especially ones with Meltaguns.  So, dump what you need to off the Sanguinary Priests to make that happen.  Priests really don't need wargear except for a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(457);'>JP</span>, so just give them wargear with any leftover points.<br /> <br /> Moving on, I don't like the idea of an Honor Guard without special weapons.  Without them, they're just an expensive Sanguinary Priest that's a little harder to kill in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.  If you run them, the consensus is either 4 Meltas, 4 Plasma, or 4 Meltas and 4 Flamers (it's legal).  Giving them <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> upgrades isn't a very good idea; it's too expensive to make them into a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> powerhouse, and if they aren't tooled up you don't want them <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.<br /> <br /> Finally, consider working either Vanguard Veterans or Devastators into the list at higher points.  <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>Devs</span> (with 4 Missile Launchers being the standard loadout) are a good way to open up transports; Vanguards are good counters to stuff like Long Fangs.]]></description>
