I think the others look fine as is.

This is one area I have rustled with.... the similarity between troop types.
I tried to fold in visual cues between the troops. Here you can see a comparison, the chest details such as the gorget “neck guard” the imperial eagle on the chest, details on the shoulders, the med pack dispensers (round projections lower chest ) etc., were cues I hoped would help tie them together.

They are not supposed to be enlarged versions of the same armor, in the same way that GW, SM and IG do not share the same design. I had hoped that they at least look like they belong in the same faction. If they don’t, then I have failed

Here you can see the optional Stahl helm that may help tie it together. I prefer the jousting style helm for this armor but I know some may not, and as many people tend to be drawn to the head and face, I thought it best to include this option for those that prefer it.

Ok, I can see it a bit better now. There certainly are similarities. I'm sure a unifying paint scheme would help even more. I think for me it's more to do with the curves and the angles of it all. The marines are a lot more rounded and organic, whereas the heavy troopers have a lot more hard angles in the armor, throughout the design. The iconography definitely goes a long way into tying them together too, and the weapons all definitely look like they're from the same family.

All that said, they certainly don't look incompatible. There's really nothing between the two that's really clashing. I like both the helmets for them, and you're right that the stahl helm really ties them back in with the marines in a big way. I think it's cool that they're so distinct with the switch of the helmet, actually.

Still very excited for the whole line. I'm looking forward to buying some when I'm able.

I agree with the ammo on the guy on the right, having a box/drum magazine option would be great.
I think the render is throwing things off on the ammo. The basic trooper’s arms may be too thin looking? I think the best answer would be if I made extra optional arms with perhaps some new weapons like an auto-grenade launcher, (think bolter in size) to give them a more normal troop option rather than just the heavy weapon selection.

Something ells I have been kicking around is releasing a regular army version, larger shoulders based on the Sturmtruppen design with Stahl helms and with a more rounded leg set without the skirting… This would allow me to represent the Wehrmacht heavies and keep what you see here as a special unit of Teutonic knight like Special Forces, Knights of the Order… or some such thing

I need to do this in steps of smaller releases and then ramp up options once they have shown they are popular.

What do you think? Hyping Nazi-inspired aesthetics/designs/symbols, etc. is a dangerous game to play. Kroot pointed out how a neo-Nazi organization was using a very similar banner... I did not know that.... I went back and changed the banner to a less offensive color scheme. I'm not trying to pander, but I see no need to offend by using imagery that represents a real world group that most find offensive.

I'm an Orthodox Jew, and I'm so NOT offended by this. I'm always interested to see who gets offended by what, and when it comes to Nazi paraphernalia, Germans are almost always more offended than I am (and I understand why, to an extent). I'm very against censoring anything -- maybe it's because I'm a libertarian or that I live in a country with freedom of expression, who knows? Related to "Nazi" imagery, I ran into someone once who was advocating the banning of a game for using "Nazi-inspired eagles." I had to explain to them that the eagles were in fact Roman-inspired (as are 40k's Imperial Aquilla -- which means eagle in Latin), and that the Nazis stole their imagery, by and large, from practically everyone who ever used remotely cool looking icons who came before them.

Anyway, I dig the gas mask look, and I don't really see it as "Nazi."
