Jack Skellington Rules

Something to discuss, if Jack skellington were ever able to find his way in warhammer, how would he be profiled? I geuss he would be vampie counts like or something that direction having the 'Pumpkin King' rule (like being able to cause terror to everything without testing or so)

So please guys! Since I'm a 40k player I really don't know much about fantasy statlines and how 'good' something is in there with which and what rules.

Jack Skellington Rules

Uh...k. Here's...something?

Jack, the Pumpkin King 320pts

WS7 BS5 S4 T4 I7 W3 A4 M6 Ld10
Special Rules: Always Strike First, Crypt-walk, Dodge (4+ Ward), Hot Topic Mascot, Master of Fear, Since He is Dead, Terror, Undead

Upgrade Jack to The Pumpkin King for +35pts.

Jack is a level 2 Wizard. May use the Lore of the Vampires, Death, or Shadow. He must be the army general. You may only include one Jack in your army.

Crypt-walk- if he ends the movement phase in a graveyard, mausoleum or haunted mansion/forest/etc., you can move him to a different such terrain piece. Decide beforehand blah blah blah the Green Knight thing.

Hot Topic Mascot- Jack is a cartoon character from a musical, and as such has no place in the Warhammer world. An army that includes Jack Skellington can achieve no better than a Draw, as the opposing player can write off any loses they may suffer as silliness.

Master of Fear- Causes Fear in units that cause Fear, Terror, or are Immune to Psychology.

Since He is Dead- only magical attacks can harm him. If he is slain, you can roll (again, as the Green Knight) to bring him back. He may not join units.

The Pumpkin King- attacks count as flaming and magical. S4 magical flaming breath weapon, everyone in base-to-base takes a S4 magical flaming hit in each magic phase.

@ Cannarus, point point, Warhammer is a bit silly all round XD yet 40k is at least equally silly. that's why in the next kill-team tourney at my local gw store (which has a blessing system with the gods or something alike) I will 'bless' up my allowed c'tan shard to something Jack like (we actually have to convert them slowly while the progress goes). Or give him some devised (and checked for not being too OP) powers at least! this thread might give some ideas

Still, I also am going to test my green stuff skills somewhere in the future and make a jack skellington figure to maybe eventually use as well, in fantasy games ofcourse ;D

Warhammer is silly, this is true. But the tone of it's lack-of-seriousness is pretty far from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Like comparing, I don't know, the humor between Johnathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal" to Monty Python's Flying Circus...

@snurl : If someone would bring santa on the tabletop then jack will go on a prowl looking at and touching the santa army and constantly saying, WHAT'S THIS?!

@warpsolution : You shouldn't try to compare ;D Movie vs a game, since the movie was greatly intended to be for children it's lack-of-seriousness factor must be altered to that intention ;D Warhammer is for 12+ (depending though, but at my GW store they probe the parents a bit to know wether the kid is serious enhough if not clearly so) And The Nightmare Before Christmas is for all ages (though I wouldn't show it to my 4 - 5 year olds)
