I noticed not to long ago that Honor Guards have a PW, Bolter, AND bolt pistol! something I thought only grey hunters had. A Chapter Honor Guard on foot with a power weapon is 35pts.

The Honor Guard has better armor, higher Leadership, more Attacks, and a boltgun.

What's the problem? Everything they can do (other than sweep) LC Termies do better AND cheaper... and have an invulnerable save... AND don't require a Chapter Master to field. I fail. I forgot that I ran my squad with a Relic Blade on the Champion, which is where the 40 points/model came from. I still stand by the rest of my points, though. They simply do not have a cost-effective niche in the current meta. Whether that is best fixed through a price drop or special rules is up for debate.
