Hey guys,

like the topic says, I'm looking to upgrade my current airbrush compressor, which is an Saturn 25 http://www.airbrush-city.de/images/produkte/i88/887-saturn-25-003.jpg .

The two models I've had my eye on are:

http://www.air-craft.net/acatalog/Twin-Piston-Airbrush-Compressor-3.5L-receiver-Tank-Cased.html

http://www.air-craft.net/acatalog/EURO-TEC-60A-Airbrush-Compressor.html

Anyone had any experience with either one of these?

Cheers,

IK-Painter

I have a shop air compressor.
It is louder yes but you can do quite a lot with a 2, 3, or even 4 gallon tank.
It also gives you consistent not heated air.

That's just what I know but this way may be cheaper, unless you had a specific reason for getting these.

Looking to upgrade my airbrush compressor

I don't know why, but compressors and airbrushes in general are much more expensive in Germany, than most other countries I know. Also, you only get compressors fit for airbrushing in dedicated crafts stores - of which there aren't many around where I live. Even most hardware stores don't carry these kinds of compressors.

I'm just looking for a piston compressor with a reasonably large airtank, with moisture trap and pressure valve - which doesn't bring the house down, every time I switch it on.

These two where the ones which fit my criteria - plus this store delivers to Germany and is about 150 Euros cheaper than the same compressor from a german website...
