The Adeptus Sororitas and the Inquisition

I'm starting a small Sisters army for decorational purposes. Now I have quite a few metall Sororitas models, however here is the problem:

They are all adorned with the Inquisition symbols (shoulders, and the heavy I hanging from a chain).
Do Sororitas wear those things always or only when working for the Ordo Hereticus?
I want to build an army that is at that moment working for the Ecclesiarchy and not for the Inquisition.

Is it possible that they keep those symbols as a sort of memento for their service in Inquisition forces? Or would such an idea get them executed quickly for trying to impersonate an inquisitorial aide?

Re:The Adeptus Sororitas and the Inquisition

Unless the minis have been modified in some way then the icons are Ecclesiarchy ones (which look similar to Inquisition ones; see the current thread about this).

http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/427904.page

The SoB minis didn't get changed icons in the comparatively brief time that they were officially the Ordo Hereticus' Chamber Militant (when C:WH was valid) - they're mostly the same minis as they were back in 2nd Ed.

EDIT: Plus they were never exclusively an Inquisition Chamber Militant (as Deathwatch used to be, and GKs are) but were more voluntary allies of the Ordo Hereticus, now and then, given similar aims, but were also their own organisation, able to act as they saw fit. So they most likely wouldn't have altered their icons at all when happening to serve with an Inquisitor.

The Adeptus Sororitas and the Inquisition

Sisters are, first and foremost, the militant arm of the Ecclesiarchy. They work with the Inquisition because the Inquisition has (usually) similar goals and worldviews as the Sisters (most Inquisitors are not radicals despite what black library would lead you to believe).

Re:The Adeptus Sororitas and the Inquisition

The Chaplet Ecclesiasticus dangling from the chain has already been explained - the symbol on one of the shoulder pauldrons on the other hand doesn't show up in any other Imperial body.
Given that the other pauldron stands for the Sisterhood as a whole (the Fleur-de-Lys, now also known as the Sigil Sororitas), I think the "winged I" could be a symbol of the Orders Militant - or perhaps symbolic of the Imperial armed forces in general, so in concjunction with the Fleur-de-Lys marking the wearer as a Sister Militant.

And no worries, this mistake gets made a lot of times. The reason likely being that the "Inquisition =][=" is so much more famous than the other, somewhat similar Imperial icons.
