My first opponent will be against 2500 pt Dwarf list.

What can I expect to face? Any tactics I should bear in mind?

Am I correct that the BSB will provide +2 combat resolution because the War Banner provides +1 and the BSB itself is +1?

The CR will stack like that ... but I don't think you should be taking the warbanner on your BSB anyway. Pick up some magic gear instead, something like a dawnstone to give him a rerolled 1+ armor save and a charmed shield to wear on his back and keep him safe versus the first artillery snipe (i.e. it doesn't improve his save, but does still give him the 2+ 'save'). On your manticore level 4, are you using the WoC price for the enchanted shield? So 15 not 5 points? Also, you may as well grab a 5 point biting blade from the WoC book while you are at it, more useful than the warrior bane

I have a few other tweaks, you'll see them in the list:

Sorcerer Lord - MoT, level 4, stream; biting blade, e.shield, puppet, talisman of preservation, manticore = 610

Exalted Hero - MoK, BSB, c.shield, dawnstone, halberd, juggernaut = 234
Festus = 185

25 Warriors - MoN, banner of rage, full command, shields = 495
50 Marauders - MoN, full command, great weapons = 300

15 Chosen - MoT, blasted standard, favor, full command, halberds = 400

Hellcannon = 205
Scyla = 105

So that's: biting blade on level 4, defensive gear on BSB, and halberds instead of great weapons (keep your awesome Initiative!) on the chosen. Thing is, it's 34 points over ... While I could start cutting into the list to find points (stream, the 50th marauder, the MoN on the warriors, etc) a simple solution would be to drop Scyla, then use the extra points to pick up 1-2x 5 warhounds and/or another chosen or something. Scyla is a lot better than other spawn, but he's still a lot of points for a level of randomness (I personally might drop the warrior's mark of nurgle and 1 marauder to make points - Scyla is sort of not good but I like sort of not good things )
