Crypt ghoul from vargheist left overs

I would like to share how i made three crypt horrors from the left overs from the vargheist pack. The two options in the vargheist box share only the front torso and the legs. Furthermore the crypt horrors are hunched over quite a bit so i would say you dont see the front side of the torso anyway (at least not much).

i started by filling the torso piece with putty (or rather paper clay - to save some greenstuff)

Then i laid a thin layer green stuff over that, and sculpted the breast from 2 larger balls of greenstuff and the abdominal muscles from 4 smaller ones.

i bent heavy wire into a form roughly similar to the legs from the vargheist and joined the two pieces at the hip with a large blob of greenstuff.

i dont know if it would be better to sculpt the legs in one go, but if found it easier to form a base (like in this picture) and then put down one larger piece roughly the shape of the muscle i intend to sculpt.

Legs and upper body joined. I wanted to get it done so i lacked the patience to sculpt two claws on each foot. However i would strongly recommend to try two claws or a more realistic foot.

primed white.

Finished painting. Im not satisfied with my painting to be honest. I belive its too green and with too litte depth. However for a model which i will most likely not field and got fro free its pretty ok.
