Unmodified leadership & death magic

Hello,

I got a question regarding spirit leech (the signature spell) and unmodified leadership
The latest FAQ says that your unmodified leadership is the highest leadership in the unit without taking any modifiers.

source:

Q: When taking a Leadership test, sometimes you have to take it on
your unmodified leadership. What is your unmodified leadership?
(p10)
A: Your unmodified Leadership is the highest Leadership
characteristic in the unit. Do not include any modifiers from
any source, for example, Strength in Numbers, Inspiring
Presence or the Doom and Darkness spell.

The question now is, when i put a necromancer in a unit with my vampire lord, does he counts as leadership 10 for the purpose of the spell? (aka do i roll 10+d6?)

Thanks in advance,

Tdh6002

Unmodified leadership & death magic

It's pretty clear to me that the "highest Ld in the unit" bit was talking about the unit whose Leadership you're using/testing with, and since characters are their own units, they use the highest Leadership in themselves, which, ya' know, is theirs.
But, of course, it's murky enough to allow such silliness.
