				<description><![CDATA[ I can't make it to the bash, but I will be giving some people a bit of pre-bash practice.<br /> <br /> Slaughtermaster, level 3, Trisksters helm, iron fist, Greedy Fist, extra handweapon, Lore of Maw<br /> Butcher, level 1, lore of maw, dispel scroll, great weapon<br /> Bruiser <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>BSB</span>, heavy armor, dragon helm, iron fist<br /> 7 Iron Guts, full command, flaming banner<br /> 8 Bulls, full command, Iron Fists<br /> 8 Leadbeltchers, bellower<br /> 7 Leadbeltchers, bellower<br /> 4x10 Gnoblars<br /> 5 cats<br /> 1 cat<br /> 1 cat<br /> 2x Iron Blasters<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>BSB</span> leads the Iron Guts, Butcher leads the Bulls (from the 2nd rank), Slaughter master joins the unit of 7 lead beltchers.<br /> Gnoblars deploy 2 wide and 5 deep to act as speed bumps on one flank, and the 3 units of Sabre Tusks disrupt the other flank.<br /> <br /> Generally, I move forward just enough to put the 2nd rank of leadbelchers in range, and then back away firing.  Ususally gives me 2 or 3 turns of shooting.  I flee through the ironguts who then take/charge whatever the belchers had softened up.  It's a stupid amount of shooting for an ogre army.  5 S5 attacks from the general is nice, and 5+ armor 6+ ward and re-roll to wound me is surprisingly durable; especially on a self healing ogre.<br /> <br /> So far, I've caught all my opponent off guard.  People don't seem ready to play such a shooting heavy ogre list.<br /> <br /> -Matt]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I like the list concept, I'm trying something similar but with 1 unit of maneaters with the flame banner cuz I play skaven (Abom) and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(385);'>WOC</span> (Festus) quite a bit, and flaming sniping poison helps a lot.  <br /> <br /> A few questions on your list:<br /> <br /> Can the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> use both the ironfist and the extra hand weapon?  Or is one for range and the other for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>cc</span>?<br /> <br /> Do you find the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 3 vs <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 4 for the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> has much impact on your competitiveness in the magic phase? 				<description><![CDATA[ My bad on the Slaughtermaster, he can't take both.  So he'd drop the Iron Fist.<br /> <br /> How do lead belchers do?  Awesome.  One game in two bursts (one at long, one at short) Killed enough ghouls where the vampire lost his look out.  Iron Blaster finished him.<br /> They shot to death a bret lance of 10 + <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>BSB</span> + Prophetess in 2 shooting phases (killed them all, and the characters).<br /> <br /> The firepower they dish out is roughly the same as ~60-70 handgunners.  Adding to the fire power is the durability of ogreness.  Normal gunline solutions don't work vs ogres.<br /> Fling in fast cav to try and stop the shooting, and you're facing 24+ S4 attacks.<br /> It's not the shooting that makes the list dangerous, its the inability of my opponents to stop the shooting.<br /> Same goes for Iron Blasters.  Typical cannon killers struggle against something as beefy as the Ironblaster.  It's tough, has 5 wounds, decent armor, and does impact hits.<br /> <br /> As for the spells, the level 1 pretty much always takes stubborn, and more often than not, so does the level 3.<br /> I was running the level 4, but instead picked up the dragon helm and dispel scroll.<br /> <br /> -Matt<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I found that 3 units of 5 Leadbelchers is working for me <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(258);'>atm</span>, a little more diversity for targets, that and 2 hordes of 40 Gnoblars.  A <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> can take bonecruncher <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2d6</span> s2 no armor to attempt to fend off the Ethreal spam, as I dont believe its all that many models?  Also a gnoblar squad that gets S3 T4 regen is getting pretty bad <img src="/s/i/a/934fe4f0c85983a716e6680a72065e99.gif" border="0">.]]></description>

I don't think I've ever got an ironblaster into combat.  If they get close - GRAPESHOT!<br /> <br /> I might change up the character's magic items a bit for personal preference, but other than that - this is classic Ogres.  I think I prefer 3 cats over the gnoblars though.  Gnoblars haven't worked for me very well, but maybe I'm out of practice.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I agree with the cat thing, maybe a few more ironguts in the main unit, makes them very  big target but very expensive to erase too,  but i have to differ on the beast thing, there spells are good (except for flock of doom),  and most play on the higher than average strength and toughness of ogres, using beast on the level 4 with the level 2 using maw is great together, ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I went with my favorite combo.<br /> Butcher with Maw, slaughtermaster with heavens.<br /> Had thunderbolt, harmonic, the signature, and comet.<br /> <br /> Comet turned the game from a minor victory to an all out massacre.  In a shooty ogre list, heavens pairs up really nice.  Thunderbolt and Comet (both easy to cast for a level 4), kept the toad worried, and the butcher with the signature and trollguts was a real threat as well.<br /> <br /> A few cannon shots tore some stuff up pretty good, and if it weren't for that sun standard, I would have shot all the temple guard dead (as opposed to just killing them in 2 turns of melee).<br /> Gnoblars kept skinks busy, as they are just dangerous enough to threaten skinks in combat.<br /> Despite being hit with a hex scroll, the butcher performed quite well (good thing he was hiding in the 2nd rank).<br /> <br /> -Matt]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yeah definitely stick with the lore of the maw, transformation is a gimmick that rarely is successful on the tournament scene so it shouldn't give your friend much problems.<br /> <br /> I love the ogre gunline, leadbelchers are as good as bulls in melee and there guns have gotten much better.]]></description>
