If memory serves, and it doesn't always, wardens were much more heavily armored than the other knight types and geared more towards defense and less towards flashy combat roles.

Looking at it I think it could have been a Terminator 4 toy or a Starwars toy heavly converted and made dam cool becouse of it. Certainly fits the fluff, but given that fluff is not a requirement in any given army list, I'd do it just because that converted model looks cool and it would be awesome to see some 40k scale knights that aren't the old armorcast eldar knights.

Especially since they already have a "titan" close combat weapon and the "auto-cannon" is big enough to be a battle-cannon, hopper-fed and all!
Total size hits 6 inches to the top of the exhaust stacks.
