Motorized Shadowsword help needed

Guys,
I have a quick question…
Thinking about motorizing my new Shadowsword and was wondering what scale R/C model tank that I should be looking at.
I found some kits that have moving turrets and what not for $50 in 1/24 scale but think that may be a little small.
Any suggestions???

This would be all kinds of AWESOME!
Strickly speeking you could just use the inside parts of a cheep RC car as all you need it to do is go forward/back left/right. The hard part is knowing where your going to put the final drive, powercell placement, how to make the cells stay where you want them, how you will get all the wheels to work and where you can get rubberised track to fit it.
Other than these little problems I still say this is going to be AWESOME!

Re:Motorized Shadowsword help needed

I have a 1/48th scale remote control tank I bought when our gaming store closed but it has an umbilical cord that connects the controller to the motors the size is just about Rhino size which I may do at a later date, I have a Baneblade and a Shadowsword and was thinking for “something to do” why not R/C one…. I have found really neat tank kits in 1/24th scale and 1/16th scale and was thinking about buying one of those kits and using it. Still my question is what scale do you guys think is closer to say, track width and drive wheels size…..
I like the looks of the newer kits I’ve seen because they are cordless and a few out there can raise and lower the main turret.

I know twice he mentions 1:24 scale. He uses an M1 Abrams for the tracks and the motorblock, which he comments about being 2 big to fit so he has to adjust the baneblade roof.

I myself am dying to make up a rc Landraider. It would be great for chasing the cat around.
