I'm planning to use DKoK miniatures, which with their price will be even slower, but then it was their models that got me back into 40K after quitting years ago so I'm not hugely interested in alternatives, though bargain (real) miniatures are always useful.

I'd really appreciate any helpful tips for modelling/painting and even on the backstory - believability etc.

My arm progress is going to be slow, as I'm currently a student in one of the most expensive cities in the world. Most of the collecting will probably occur over this summer, as I'll have spare money (and a job).
