2000 Point Eldar Mech Reserve List - T1 worthy?

The two stores I play at both have tournaments in which it is ALWAYS Tier 1 versus Tier 1, so my poor Eldar are just something fun to shoot and/or laugh at.

Time to rock the GKs and BAs.

Eldrad (when going first, this allows me to rearrange folks)
Autarch on Jetbike, Laser Lance, Mandiblaster (to give him 6 S6 PW attacks on the charge, and the +1 roll on reserves)

Elite
Fire Dragons x 5
Banshees x 9 + EX + Mirrorswords + Acrobat in WS, Stones, EML

Troops
DAWS, Spirit Stones + EML
DAWS, Spirit Stones + EML
DAWS, Spirit Stones + EML
9 Jetbikes, 3 cannons, Warlock w/ Enhance

Heavy
Fire Prism
Fire Prism
Falcon w/ Holo, Spirit Stones, Scatter Laser

Tactics:
When going first, use Eldrad to move my mech around to week side. When going second, reserve everything and come out on week side.
Eldrad rides with the Banshees, DOOMING anyone the Banshees are going to fight and FORTUNING the bikers. Eldrad is also a big middle-finger to the GKs.
Autarch rides with the bikers and is pretty damned scary with 6x WS6 S6 power weapon attacks at I6. And that's after taking 20+ Twin-Linked shuriken shots from the bikes. Just gotta keep him away from any S6+ enemies.
Fire Dragons ride the Falcon, pop an AR14 then go out in a blaze of glory, pun indented.
Fire Prisms pop vehicles open and pie plate any hordes.
Falcon pops transports and picks up any cargo the poor wave serpents dropped off.
Banshees ride a WS to anyone who was unfortunate enough to blow points on 2+ armor, and scream along with their enemies.

TURN 1:
If going first, zoom the Dragons towards first AR14 available. Pop it if possible. Prisms pop everything they can.
If going second, reserve everything till turn 2.

TURN 2:
Get extremely unlucky on reserve rolls. It's what I do. =)
Pop more tanks open. Shoot anything that moves.

TURN X:
Banshees and Bikers Beatdown till the Bewildered and Burned Bastard Bails.

ALTERNATIVE:
Replace the falcon/dragons with 3x Walkers + Scatterlasers to come in and mess up the backfield turn 2.

So what do you masters of mechanics think?

I think melee jetbikers are laughable. I tried it and they just suck too much and don't shield your Autarch in Melee. I understand they're there to plaster the enemy with shots, but it didn't work for me (only had 6). Consider Shining Spears (ducks for cover for advising them)... If you know you're fighting MeQ at least they'll have powerful weapons. And Eldrad fortuning them with 3+ cover turbo? Hell ya. Just keep 'em close to Eldrad. At least you'll have an excuse that you were playing a fun list if you loose

Some suggestions which you may freely take or not take:

Put the Autarch on foot with a power weapon, and have him ride with the Banshees and Eldrad. JB Autarchs are best with a bike council or something. Guardian bikes should never be in assault, they're far better at shooting and, more importantly, maneuvers.

Drop the Bikes down to 6 with 2 cannons. 9 has a huge footprint and cost a ton making them a liability. 6 still have enough shots to be a threat, but are small enough to stay out of the way and collect cover easier.

Are the Avengers just 5 dudes in a serpent? Eldar can't afford to spend points on do nothing troops. I know a lot of people tout MSU armies and what not, but I don't think it works for Eldar. I'd like to see these guys beefed up a bit to as least 7 or 8 guys a squad with a bladestorm Exarch. They'll blow away anything with a toughness, especially if you can doom it.

Just some ideas leaning towards how I play Eldar and have quite a bit of success with (winning tournaments with, since thats what you want). Hope that helps at all!

In stead of the big bike squad, use this:

10 DA in a waveserpent 177 + 125
Exarch w/ power weapon and shimmer shield, defend and bladestorm, SS and Star Engines

Instead of EML on the banshee serpent use star engines.

Star Engines are even more valuable now so you can get close. With the new FAQ, if your tank is destroyed when you turbo boost your squad dies too. This way you can move 12" then in the shooting phase move another 12" and if I'm not mistaken(which I might be) it doesn't count as flatting out.

Regardless it will help you get in combat with the unit you want/need to get in combat with. Eldrad's fortune will help protect your tanks from getting destroyed like that too. It looks like a pretty awesome list I just don't agree with the dragons in the falcon. Falcons have performed terrible for me and I never recommend them. If anything just take out the dragons and the falcon and put in another fire prism or the war walkers.

@Helvost
The squad is only destroyed if you move flat out and are destroyed in your turn. So to do that you would have to take a dangerous terrian test of ram another tank or a death and glory attack. If you go flat out and then are shot down in the next players turn then the squad is fine.

There are a few suggestions...

First, you you can drop the autarch for Yriel to go with the banshees/Eldrad.

You can also, just take harlequins with fixins instead of banshees and put them in a wave serpent and put the dires in a falcon and so on (play musical chairs with wave sepents). If you take banshees, give exarch executioner.

I think a 12 man jetbike unit is unwieldy to use and at most, 6+warlock and embolden/spear should be a god buy. IF you do take the autarch on bike, give him a fusion gun.

EML are OK but they often dissapoint me, rolling a 4+ is such a pain for me, I like Scatter Lasers better,

I'd also try to take 2 Fire Dragon squads somehow-try putting exarch with firepike/crack shot....ignoring cover with a 9" melta gun is huge.

I really have to support the idea of taking Yriel. Vanilla autarchs never really pulled their weight for me other then that +1 reserves, and once I changed to Yriel I've never looked back.

I treat him as a magic missile. He can point at one thing, and you can usually rely on him to kill it dead. Then he'll probably die, and if he does anything else that's just gravy.

2000 Point Eldar Mech Reserve List - T1 worthy?

Tbh this isn't anywhere close to a fully tuned Eldar list. The Banshees don't do much against a decent player (who knows how to control range or block the rear hatch), the Jetbikes present an obvious target for anti infantry weaponry (you really have to keep them Fortuned, which is a waste of a power, and even then Venom Spam just eats them) and the Autarch is a sub par overcosted assault character who is terrible if he can't break units on the charge (even if you swap to Yriel you never get around the T3 issue). It also has Dragons in a loaded up Falcon, which is a big no no (they go in Serpents, Avengers go in Falcons to make them scoring).

Tbh my main question would be how do you expect to kill vehicles? You have 4 Missiles per turn, 2 Lascannons (or one Railgun) from the Prisms, 2 S8 and 4 S6 shots from the Falcon and 9 BS3 S6 shots from the Jetbikes. The Dragons probably kill one tank, but they are very much one use only and if someone drops their transport early you have literally no way of dealing with AV14 or even reasonable amounts of AV13. Against a list with more than one AV14 vehicle, which is incredibly common at 2000pts, you are stuffed. In short you haven't got anywhere near enough anti tank ability, I would expect to see double the number of S8 and/or S6 shots per turn at 2000pts. Usually you see two units of Dragons anywhere above 1000pts, and above 1750 the only time you don't see 3 is if someone is running Banshees or Harlies.

Eldrad + a cheap Autarch (Fusion Gun, maybe a Power Weapon, you want the +1 to reserves and you are never going to make him into a viable combat character so don't try) is certainly a solid start to a 2000pt list as it gives you two very good support characters which buff your army and let you control engagements (reserves + board position). The rest of the army needs some work though.

2000 Point Eldar Mech Reserve List - T1 worthy?

Overall, not a bad list. However, I think the weakpoint of the list is the Autarch/Jetbike combo. You do not want them assaulting for a few reasons:
1. Very few units sit out in the open and each and every model has to take a dangerous terrain test assaulting into cover.
2. Guardians go last in assault (as they lack grenades)as well as plain stink in assault. Enhance would help against assaulting IG and you could win in assault, but then you'd be exposed to IG shooting the following round. Not a big fan of that.
3. The Autarch does get 6 attacks on the charge, but then he too, stinks in assault.

If you are really set on the Jetbike/Autarch combo, I'd drop the Laser Lance/Mandiblaster and pick up a Reaper Launcher and if points allowed, a normal Power Weapon. For the Warlock, drop Enhance and pick up Embolden. Then you've got a reasonable light armor/infantry shooting unit as I really don't think they belong in assault.
