				<description><![CDATA[ A couple of friends and I hosted a 1250 pts tournament yesterday for 20 people and everyone seemed to have a great time. So with no luck I was drawn against two of my regular opponents in Glenn with his Wolves in game 1, and Lee's Blood Angels in game 2<br /> <br /> Game 1 - Seize Ground and Marked for Termination with Spearhead deployment.<br /> <br /> Glenns army is something like this:<br /> <br /> Rune Priest with slayer, living lightning and jaws<br /> 8 man <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> unit with melta, banner, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span> with combimelta/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> in a rhino<br /> 8 man <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> unit with melta, banner, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span> with combimelta/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> in a rhino<br /> Wolf Guard of doom unit with 2 Terminators with cyclones, 1x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>, 1xPW, + 6 power armoured <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span>, 1 x power fist in a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span><br /> 5 man <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> with with melta, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span> with combimelta/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> in a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span> razor ???<br /> 6 man <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(450);'>LF</span> with 5 missiles<br /> 6 man <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(450);'>LF</span> with 5 missiles<br /> <br /> Glenn was actually the last person I'd played before the tournament and he'd beat me (by passing a 6+ cover save on a single <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(124);'>SW</span> who'd been dark lanced in the face for 2 turns in a row grr ya jammy ******). We rolled for 3 objectives, and Glenn was going first. He chose the Wyches that were with my succubus for Termination, and I chose his 8 man Grey Hunters Spartans unit. He had a 5 man squad, but I figured (correctly as it turned out) they would stay near his deployment as they were in a Razorback that would add some fire support. I won the roll as to place first objective and so I could place 2 of them quite near to me -one in some woods to the north of my DZ, and one in a ruin to the back edge of my quarter, and most of the battle would happen around my quarter.. Glenn deployed both <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(450);'>LF</span> units in a ruined building near the back corner of his quarter, with the razor near his objective that was in woods, and the two larger <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> units rhinos on the border of his deployment zone. I did my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> 'cower in the corner furtherst from Long Fang Hotel and rely on Nightshields to keep me alive til turn 2' tactic, with the venoms surrounding the raiders and ravagers to give them a cover save from the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span> crazy gang. Voidraven went in reserve. Irolled +1WS on my combat drugs.<br /> <br /> 1st turn- Glenn's pod of doom came in right in the middle of my quarter, and the wolf guard and rune priest prepared to unleash the wrath of Fenris into my cramped up vehicles. His rhinos swung round the woods 12" towards the two objectives and popped smoke. Razorback moved 6" towards my end of the table. Shooting, the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(293);'>RP</span> and the missiles opened up on the Succubus' wyches raider but poor rolls and cover saves meant that it was only immobilised and lost its dark lance. So a bucket, but still a bucket that still had nightshields and was only about 7" away from an objective. I think one squad of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(450);'>LF</span> was out of range of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> vehicles, but the other blew one of my venoms to bits, and then the heavy bolter from the razor killed one of the shell-shocked warriors. Passed pinning.<br /> My turn I moved the still-mobile raider 12" and the wyches piled out in front of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span>. Other wyches jumoed into the raider as their comrades jumped out. I manouvered the ravagers and 2 remaining venoms to get away from the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(450);'>LF</span>'s and approaching razor and be able to bring some pain on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span> before the 10 squad of wyches charge. The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>de</span>-venomed warriors run and fleet towards the immobilsed raider. In my shooting the ravagers and venoms take a toll on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span>, halfing the squad. I confidently charge them, but wyches only kill 1 power armoured <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span>!! and Glenn kills 2 wyches. I pass leadership.<br /> <br /> 2nd turn- Glenn sort of shimmies his rhinos about slightly, but doesn't move them too far. Razor moves up and shoots at warriors, but I pass cover saves. Long Fangs open up on the raider that moved and it kabooms, vapourising 3 wyches. I can't remember what the other squad of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(450);'>LF</span>'s did that turn. Storm bolter on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span> kills one more wych. In assault I wound the Rune Priest and kill one of the terminators, leaving just the priest and the other termie. I don't loose any wyches this turn, but Wolves pass morale.<br /> My turn the Voidraven doesn't show, the wyches that tumbled out of the raider move out of terrain, and Succubus splits from them to within 2" of the other squad that are locked in combat. The warriors get into the empty immobilsed raider. Ravagers and Venoms move up the edge of the board to get better sight on the rhinos. Shooting, and I fleet the succubus as i'm not sure if she auto joins the squad in combat or not, either way she is now well in for combat. First ravager wrecks the Spartan <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> unit rhino and they bail but not pinned, second ravager merely makes the second rhino not shoot. The way glenn bailed his marines means only one venom can see them, and it kills two I think. Assault, and the succubus executes the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(293);'>RP</span> and wyches kill terminator so 2 pain tokens. I consilidate out so the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> wyches are giving the other squad behind a cover save. either way its not looking pretty for any of them<br /> <br /> 3rd turn - Not killing the second rhino is bad, as Glenn drives it smashing through the forest behind the drop pod and and disembarks a squad of angry Wolves in rapid fire range of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> wyches. Spartan <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span>'s move, but are not likely to be in range. Razor moves menacingly towards the non-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> squad. Shooting, and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span>'s unsuprisingly rapid fire the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> wyches, leaving the Succubus on 1 wound and only the Heka and 2 or 3 beige wyches remaining. Long fangs open up on them but I either pass all my cover (the woods in the way) or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> saves but they kill very little. Storm bolter from the pod shoots and kills one more. Razor kills a wych from the other squad. Overall I count myself pretty lucky here, and pass both morale tests.<br /> My turn, Voidraven still doesn't show, and I move the Succubus and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> wyches through the woods to get to grips with the Spartans. The 4 or 5 remaining non-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> wyches bravely move towards the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span>'s who rapid fired, but I move the venoms and ravagers up to support fire. Half the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span>'s are in the woods, so they are getting cover, but that doesn't make it any easier when a ravager rolls 3 hits, then 3 1's to wound!!! Second ravager kills one, and the venoms kill 3 more. Warriors inside venoms immobilise and destroy storm bolter of the rhino. I fleet the non-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> wyches into woods and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span>/succubus squad out of the other side facing off against the spartans. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span>'s I shot up fail their morale!! and fall back out of assault range, leaving the bold but dumb wyches standing there. No such respite for the spartans though and the wyches charge, succubus kills one and wyches kill the banner which pleases me. (hate wolf banners grr). Wolves wound succubus, fails dodge save but passes her <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> woohoo! Wolves kill last beige wych in that squad though.<br /> <br /> 4th - Glenn rallies pussy runaway <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span>'s and comes back for the 4 remaining wyches. Half are still in cover so they shoot and kill all but the power weapon hekatrix. (This is the squad marked for termination). one squad of long fangs moves this turn for a better line of sight against my vehicles, other squad explodes a venom, which kills a warrior. Razor kills one more warrior. Glenn fails his assault into cover against the solitary wych. In the wych/spartan combat, I miss EVERYONE of my 8 agoniser attacks THAT HIT ON 3'S. Glenn does a reasonable amount of wounds but I pass all my dodge and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> saves, including a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> attack on the Succubus.<br /> My turn, Voidraven turns up, and lines up for shatterfields on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(450);'>LF</span>'s. Newly footslogging warriors move onto objective just in terrain but their bunched up and I can see whats gonna happen next for them. These warriors do blow up the drop pod thats contesting an objective with their blaster though. Ravagers wipe out the foolish Grey Hunters. Solitary wych fleets towards the ongoing combat. The Voidraven fires both its shatterfields on a squad of Long Fangs, doing an impressive 10 wounds, but glenn fails only 1 armour save! Wych charges into the combat and I think I almost totally fluff again, killing only 1 Wolf, while taking no casualties.<br /> <br /> 5th - Glenn gets the 5 man squad out and legs it onto his objective in the woods on his side of the board next to the long fangs that moved turn 4. The razor moves 12" towards my objective, but still needs another turn to get anywhere near it. The long fangs that took a casualty waste the Voidraven, and the other <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(450);'>LF</span>'s frag the sh1t out of the warriors on foot on my objective. In glenns combat phase my succubus finally decapitates the last 2 of the spartans and consilidate towards the objective next to where the drop pod was.<br /> My turn and I get the 4 warriors out of the immobilsed raider, I think Glenn had forgot about them, but with nightshields they would not have been in danger anyway. They move onto the objective were bits of the previous warriors are still splattered all over the place. hekatrix and succubus move onto objective, and shredder warriors venom moves next to it as well. Other hekatrix hides out of line of sight behind a wrecked Rhino. The ravagers immobilise the Razorback.<br /> <br /> A 2 is rolled for the game to continue and I win 2-1 on objectives, and get the extra point for killing my Termination unit. Great game, Glenn probably would have had me if his frags had rolled better in the turn they shot the wyches.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Game 2 - Capture and Control + Assassinate with Pitched Battle deployment.<br /> <br /> Was playing Lee's Blood Angels, its something like this:<br /> <br /> Reclusiarch with melta pistol<br /> Librarian with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(332);'>TDA</span>, bloodlance and shield<br /> 8!! <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> with 4 power weapons, fist and hammer<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> blender dread<br /> Frag cannon/flamey furiouso of pwnage<br /> Stormraven of egg-basket syndrome doom<br /> 5 scouts with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span><br /> 5 scouts with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span><br /> <br /> I am teaming up with Lee in the doubles next week with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span>, so this was gonna be interesting. I won the roll and went first, as I was certain I would pop the raven with a lot of lance shots. Since I have the mark of Sean and he has scouts, then of course I rolled re-roll wounds in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> for my combat drugs. Lee gets fearless and furious charge on one of his scout squads The objectives were almost as far apart as they could be from each other in diagonal corners. I deploy all three venoms behind a big ruin near my objective, with ravagers and voidraven sitting about the middle of the board. Haywire wyches raider sets up in their radier accross from Lee's objective and succubus wych raider sets up near mine. As only have 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> unit Lee has to assassinate my Succubus, and as his most expensive <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> i have to chib his Chaplain guy.<br /> <br /> 1st turn - I go flat out with the succubus wych raider into the middle of the board for some reason that will ever be a mystery. Ravagers move so that stormraven isn't getting a cover save, but not much else moves. Then the inevitible happens - Two void lances and seven dark lances only manage to stun the stormraven, which obv has extra armour so can still move!! I think Lee saved a couple of penetrating hits with shield, but still!!<br /> Lee's turn, and the Furioso slams down in a pod right in the middle of the venoms. Talk of putting the cat amongst the pigeons - I was confident in taking it out, but as it turned out it was like the tiger-on-meth amongst sedated slugs! Stormraven moves flat out and fires multimelta at the voidraven, stunning it. No extra armour for me, oh no. Scouts smash the succubus' raider, and it explodes. 3 wyches bite it, and the rest are pinned!!! Goddamit, its only game 2 and wyches are slogging all over the place. The furioso of doom frag cannons the crap out of a blaster-warrior venom and its wrecked, guys pass pinning.<br /> <br /> Turn 2 - I fly the other of my blaster-warrior venoms behind the furioso to get a rear armour shot, and turbo boost the shredder venom so it gets a 4+. Ravagers move more than 6" so that any assaulting nasties are hitting on 6's. I use aethersails on the remianing wych raider so they are right next to the scout squads. My heart rate increases slightly at the thought.... With my voidraven stunned, one raider going flat out and the other dead, I only have the ravagers to take out the stormraven. Which they don't. in retrospect, i think I did get a shaken result which we forgot about next turn but whatever. The warriors on foot's blaster immobilises the furioso, and the glorious blaster shot from behind... rolls a 1 for armour penetration! Yey!! That was pretty much it. Pitiful.<br /> Lee's turn and i'm cursing the dice gods and grimacing in anticipation. 15 lance shots at the feckin stormraven in my first two turns... Stormraven moves up and deposits blender dread and librarian, then the Stormraven kills the Voidraven, librarian fluffs blood lance on a ravager whilst blender dread stuns other ravager with meltagun, but can't hit it in combat. Scouts fluff on trying to kill raider with wyches after I pass a couple of flat-out saves. Furioso roasts the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>de</span>-venomed warriors alive, and the storm bolter of death from the drop pod wrecks the other blaster warriors venom!! Its looking hairy for me holding my own objective at this rate.<br /> <br /> Turn 3- Wyches disembark next to scouts, raider uses aethersails and goes 20" towards succubus' wyches, who move through the terrain in front of them and fleet through it as well. Blaster warriors climb up a level in the ruin, shredder warriors position their venom to get a rear armour shot on the crazy furiouso. Ravager that can move flies behind blender dreadnought, igonring stormraven and librarian ( which in retrospect is totally fail idea). Shooting, ravager merely immobilises blender dread, and all the warriors fluff yet again on the furioso. I fleet wyches, and charge both units of scouts, killing all but a missile launcher of one squad and making him run, and the fearless sarge fights on.<br /> Lee turn 3 and he moves the stormraven 12" and disembarks the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> next to the 10 squad of wyches locked with the scout sarge. He shoots the other wych squad in terrain with the raven's assault cannon but I pass cover. Librarian blood lances the ravager he fluffed against last turn and blender dread meltas the other one into scrap. Mental furioso roasts his second warrior squad. Scout <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> ralies and shoots raider and wrecks it. Assault, and the Death Company assault wyches, hekatrix kills a beige <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span>, wyches - the Chaplain takes a wound and the lone scout bites it. Wyches are uber shafted by the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span>'s power weapons though and are wiped. Lee consolidates ominously towards the other squad.<br /> <br /> Turn 4 - its all going tits up for me so i determine to at least kill the Recluisiarch and get my personal mission. The wyches move out of terrain and fleet towards the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span>. Final remaining Venom turbo boosts onto objective - thank god its the other side of the bloody drop pod so the dreadnought can't template the sh1te out of me like he's been doing so far. No shooting! The wyches and succubus charge, and the succubus stabs the Reclusiarch in the head and kills him. The Wyches kill 2 more, and lose only 1 in return, so I win combat. A <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> dies from combat res.<br /> Lee's turn, he moves the stormraven more than 12" towards my venom. But true to form the derranged furioso gets in there first and blows the venom up with its magna grapple! A warrior dies from the explosion. Raven's ass cannon kills one more, warriors pass morale. Combat, and the succubus has had enough of this pish and floors all the death company. Can't remember exactly but it was either a 5 or 6" consolidation towards the lone scout <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> guy.<br /> <br /> Turn 5 - the 2 remaining wyches and the succubus charge through terrain and fleet. 'Face me, Betrayer!!!' echoes around Scotstoun. They get in and gut the scout, and the wyches manage to hold objective and be out of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span> to either librarian or stormraven.<br /> Lee's turn 5 and he goes flat out with the stormraven into terrain.... and crashes. after all the bloody lances i hit that thing with as well. The furioso and drop pod try their best to kill the warriors on the objective but I go to ground in my crater and hang on in with 2 of them.<br /> <br /> We roll a 2 and I win 2 - 0 on objectives and get the personal mission. As much as I reckon wyches and succubus' are awesome in combat, I reckon I robbed Lee here. I thought I was gonna be tabled by turn 4. Also, so far, the succubus has let me achieve my personal mission in both games, killing a Marked for termination squad, as well as the rune priest, then killing a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> recluisairch and most of a unit of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> herself. The Huntress is on a roll. Not bad for 85 pts<br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> 3rd game - Annihilation and Recon with Dawn of War deployment.<br /> <br /> Against Simi!! who had the nastiest army there.<br /> <br /> his army was something like this:<br /> <br /> Primaris psyker<br /> Squad of psyker guys who make you run away. Chimera<br /> 2 vendettas with melta vets inside<br /> Melta vets in a chimera<br /> Manticore<br /> 2 squads of two hydras!!<br /> <br /> I was bricking it!<br /> <br /> Not gonna go into the turns in this game, was pretty boring (no reflection on Simi here, was just dull) and I had the rub of the green big time. I go first and bring everything on. Simi brings everything on but can't shoot me due to nightfighting. I then wreck a squad of hydras from a ravager and manage to take out both vendettas turn two, which basically saves my bacon for the rest of the game. Simi works his way through my skimmers and a squad of wyches with the rest of the stuff but i'm getting cover saves from the remaining hydras due to the terrain and Simi can't roll to save his life in this game, and I manage to contest the middle objective with a Venom on turn 5, simi fluffs trying to kill it and its an 8 each kill pts draw.<br /> <br /> To say I got off ligthly would be the understatement of the century]]></description>

Pitched Battle deployment, night fighting on turn 5 as the dusk settles over Scotstoun after a day of fire and battle!!<br /> <br /> Playing against John Laurie, my nemesis from last year's Cruicible were his dreadknight of death had reaved its way through my poor Charmanders! I'd also played against John in a doubles tournament, were me and my mate Chris had held on for a draw by the skin of our baws against John's Guard and Tom Russell's Space Wolves, so I hadn't beaten him in two encounters, but he's a great opponent so I was glad he was here. I roll + 1 attack on my combat drugs, and John rolls a 6 for grand strategy and makes his whole army scoring aside from the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(524);'>GM</span>. I set up with my ravagers and voidraven in a central position, 2 venoms on one side and one of the blaster warrior venoms on the other. Both wych raiders are placed side-on on the 12" mark. If John steals its game over..<br /> John combat squads his interceptors and positions them behind two large eldar ruins at the back, with a dreadknight next to each squad. Strike squads set up half in terrain on about the 12" in mark, one of which has the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(524);'>GM</span> in it.<br /> <br /> 1st - wych raiders pivot, move 12" and both squads pile out to fleet and charge strike squads. even a 1 fleet roll should get me in. A ravager moves up on top of a piece of terrain to see one of the dreadknights and is immobilised but its in a good position so i don't care. other ravager and voidraven plus the venom on their side moves to see the interceptors/dreadknight better. Other two venoms move to be able to shoot other half of interceptors. Shooting, and firstly i fleet the wyches. 10 man squad rolls a 1" but are still gonna be in for combat. Succubus squad roll a 4 or 5. Voidraven opens up on the dreadknight with lances and missiles as the interceptors are pressed right against it, I kill two of them, and wound the dreadknight. The ravagers take a further two wounds from the dreadknight, and the venom kills another interceptor. Interceptors fail morale and as they are jump infantry they flee the field. Dreadknight has 1 wound left. On the other side of the board, the two venoms kill only one interceptor and the dreadknight passes a cover save from one of the radier's dark lance. Wyches assault into the strike squads. Succubus goes nuts and along with her hekatrix butcher their strike squad getting a pain token but consolidating only an inch which is bad with the dreadnight next turn. Other wyches kill only 1 or two <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(524);'>GM</span> kills 1 or two wyches in return. Anyways, that one is a draw.<br /> John's turn, and he shunts with the 4 remaining interceptors and uses the incinerators on two venoms, blowing a splinter cannon from the shredder warriors venom but I pass two flickerfield saves from penetrating hits on the other. The 1 wound dreadknight incinerates 4 wyches from the succubus' squad and they pass morale. Dreadknight charges but is killed by the succubus so <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> and furious charge on them and they consolidate towards the other combat. Other dreadknight charges in to the ongoing combat and takes 1 wound, but flattens 2 wyches. Wyches also kill 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(524);'>GM</span> and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> manage to kill a wych between them somewhere and the combat is drawn again.<br /> <br /> 2nd - I move both raiders and venoms towards the 4 interceptors. Succubus squad move towards the combat. Raiders and blaster warriors kill all the interceptors. Charging, the Succubus puts all her attacks on the Grand master but only wounds once. Wcyhes kill another <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>Gk</span> and the wyches that were already in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> wound the dreadknight again. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(524);'>GM</span> wounds the succubus but I pass my dodge save before the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(524);'>GM</span> can send her soul to Slaanesh. I win the combat and the Dreadknight runs from combat res, and since he moves as jump infantry he flies off the table. John's turn, and all that happens is that the Justicar dies.<br /> <br /> 3rd - The shredder warriors venom moves for the objective, but thats not needed as the Succubus spears the grand master's heart with her agoniser and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span>'s are all dead.<br /> <br /> A harsh game on John, but I've found that a lot of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> players who are not used to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> combat stuff often set strike squads 12" on to be able to hit stuff with psycannons, and i can get a first turn charge if i'm going first. John says that he doesn't like taking razors or dakka dreads as he likes playing footslogging <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span>, so he knew if he played a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> army like mine he'd be in trouble.<br /> <br /> I finish third overall with 3 wins, a draw and 2 personal missions, giving me a grand total of 20pts and 30 kill points. Only <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> finished above me so I was happy to fly the flag for the most fragile army in the game!<br /> <br /> as to how my army perfomed -<br /> <br /> Best unit - Succubus 'The Huntress' - Died fail style against Simi's guard, but against 3 different types of marines she killed a nasty squad each game (especially Lee's <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span>) and killed each one of their <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>'s. And a Dreadknight, but that was only on one wound. Considering Wyches are supposed to be gladiatorial combatants i think thats simply awesome. 85 pts of win.<br /> <br /> Worst unit - hate to say it as I love the model, but the Voidraven. Killed a grand total of a chimera, 1 space wolf and 2 grey knights. 175 pts of fail.<br /> <br /> I am also rather underwhelmed by blaster warrior squads. The venoms are awesome, but the only thing i did that was useful with the warriors was blow up a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(124);'>SW</span> drop pod<br /> <br /> Had an awesome time though and had a good laugh with all my opponents<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

I really enjoyed myself on the day. <br /> <br /> The succubus was simply outstanding. 85 pts for an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(67);'>IC</span> with at least 6 attacks on the charge, with the potential for an extra one, or re-rolling wounds or +1ws which makes marines hit her on 5's. And she wounds anything on 4's. Once she gets <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> she is a nightmare for any form of marine player. <br /> <br /> Killbot I will probably still keep using the Voidraven, or at least a Razorwing as I love the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> flyer model (i use my razorwing model as either), but in retrospect the Razorwing is probably better value, coming with the 4 monoscythes at base price, rather than paying 10 pts each for two shatterfeilds. I took the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(632);'>VR</span> for the S9 lances but it fluffed the main thing in the whole tournie that it had the opportunity to kill - the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> stormraven. The only vehicle it took out was a chimera<br /> <br /> Here is a video of my games 1,2 and 4. I totally forgot to do it for my 3rd game.
