Bad translations on model kits/in instructions

Hey guys,

I'm there are many examples out there, but with such a diverse array of manufacturers of model kits, what amusing instances of bad translation have you come across?

I'll start with what's written on my Trumpeter (what country do they originate from?) 1/35 KV-2's box:

'Produce at the same time in the kv-1 model 1941, the KV-2(Also be called the year in KV-2 model 1941) also threw in the production. The KV-2 characteristic is its quick-fried tower shape. The quick-fried tower that equip 152mm howitzer reports the hexagon keeps the square form, resembling an enormous box. But, it is said because of the excess, if not on the horizontal plane, dry by heat the tower connect to revolve at all and very difficult. Because of such weakness, KV-2 is in actual battle, only used for proceeding to the virtuous soldiers the therodynamic power inhibit, but need not in the battlefield that hour of backstroke break war.'

Anyone care to translate that? I think it's commenting on the turret being wastefully big and prone to locking up in combat... No idea what it's talking about at the end with the 'virtuous soldiers', mind.

Any other examples? :p

EDIT:
The kit's not Dragon, it's Trumpeter, I'm a little dull in the memory it seems...

Re:Bad translations on model kits/in instructions

LOL.

I'd say quick fried would be welded in this case. The KV-2's turret was very heavy and the traverse mechanism under-powered. If the vehicle wasn't level the turret would be more difficult or impossible to rotate to face a target.

Trumpeter have some great stuff on the side of their kits. can't quote any, but have a look at your local model shop. The more niche the company, the stranger the use of english, particularly kit from Eastern Europe. The kits are often pretty good though.

@Howard

Yeah it actually is a Trumpeter kit not Dragon!

Probably the best non-GW kit I've ever used though. Was a pleasure to build, not overly complicated and I got a choice between rubber and plastic tracks
