Just got some baal red wash and was wondering which one you like. Both have problems like the wash looking like a wash on the model...maybe a varnish would help with this? The other without any wash. Can you please give me tips..... should I water down the wash? Which one do like more?

The models in pic 1 have a richer, more blood-red look to me.

The redin the first pic does look a little richer though, but then the second pic seems to have a brighter light source.... I dunno. The light seems to be playing tricks on me. The top picture (looking at the backgrounds and the shadows on the model) looks like it has more light shown at all angles on the mini, and more so on the mini on the right.
