If there is no real way to alter your list I think you need to play defensively with Reznik moving up field behind the bastions and the castigator out of harms way while the avatar goes in to gaze and disrupt their positioning. Once they get discombobulated by the movement restrictions have Reznik perdition something and set up a castigator attack on something juicy. Out-of-activation movement like that can easily lead to a charge lane on a careless caster or set up an advance and combustion where you may not have had range. If you trash each others' armies Reznik is a monster in combat and can stand toe to toe with almost anyone as long as he is not getting shot up.
