Recently an old friend started to talk about starting up again this summer, and now here I am. I was a lousy painter for a long time, but started to get a lot better about the time I stopped, so the last week I've dug out brushes, salvaged a handful of paint pots and started painting again.

I decided to put up an army profile as an attempt to help motivate me to actually finish some units and fill out the army. I have thousands of points of models, but too few are painted.

Coming back has been a shock to the system. Hell froze over and DE have good models and diversity! My dreams as a skimmer freak are realized and there are now models for the Warp Hunter and Night spinner. All sorts of new toys to drool over. A shock to find special characters are not only used, but are useful. It remains to be seen if we actually get around to playing, but having fun plotting and scheming.
