One example is the Dark Eldar Warrior. Stage 1 is Basecoat (it then describes the basecoats applied to each area of the model.<br /> <br /> Is it worth 50 bucks? Meh... No, but these are not techniques for advanced users. They do talk about glazing (even though they don't deal with glazing as how it is in the "art world") which is a decently "advanced technique" when used the way "artists" do (i.e. mixing paint with an artistc medium which makes the paint transparent to an extent, extends the working life of the paint (allowing blending), and allows you to control the color and lighting far better than with normal "wet" or "dry" blending.]]></description>
