				<description><![CDATA[ I feel like such an idiot.... I was educated by an awesome <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span> player last night right after I got my Arse handed too me (will be posting the Battle Report Later), that I could have moved my BW with Red paint 13" disembarked my boyz 2", then if I waaghed with Ghaz fleeted 6" and then charged 6" into assault... Man I wished I would have known about this earlier, I would have been using this tactic with my ork BWs a while ago... I just wanted to put the word out there in case any other Ork players did not know about this... Most of you probably do and I like NOOB did not.... 				<description><![CDATA[ Don't forget that you actually get a little bit farther range because the base of your model only needs to be within 2" of the transport. With Ghazkull's (or another warbooss') squad, base size is 40mm (2") so you actually have up to 13+2+2+6+6 = 29" range.<br /> <br /> This works as long as you don't take 'Ard Case on your Battlewagon, because if the transport is not open topped you won't be able to assault that turn.<br /> <br /> Works with Trucks too. <br /> <br /> Works without Ghazkull, but you have to roll dice to see how far you run<br /> <br /> Works if you are close enough to get there without running, cause then you get to dakka them first.<br /> <br /> Don't forget, you can run even if you don't plan to assault. maybe to get to an objective, or to get into cover, or to get into position for a future turn...<br /> <br /> -Myst]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Indeed, it's not an uncommon tactic. <br /> <br /> 13" for vehicle movement, just under a 3" additional shunt forwards due to disembark, 6" fleet, 6" assault - a total of just under a 28" threat radius. Add 2 more if you pulled any risky rotation-movement shenanigens. <br /> <br /> Remember that Gazzy is in Mega Armour, so he rolls <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(2);'>3D6</span> and picks highest for ALL movement. His unit is forced to always move at the slowest pace - so it's possible that you score low for that assault movement. ]]></description>

Not always likely, but does happen if you charge something to the side of where you started.<br /> <br /> 2- Think we should review slow and Purposeful, Run, Independent Charachter movement, and Prophet of the Waagh. A warboss/thrakka (or a bigmek, if you're desperate) also increase the assault range by their base size, as <i>within 2"</i> is defined by <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(146);'>WH40k</span> as the distance between vehicle and model being 2" maximum.]]></description>

I did not think fleet worked if you went that far....
