Only noticed it during painting, it can be easily distinguished from smooth areas with a finger.

Should I just respray it or strip it then spray it?? I also have a defiler(unpainted) with a similar problem.

I had this problem with about 20 ork boyz.. I just stripped them. Had to use the brown dettol since the power spray was un available

The raider has had all the paint removed(mostly without me even touching it), just needed a bit of scrubbing to fully take it off the plastic.

It still has the black undercoat which should hopefully come off soon. The rough texture has infact been removed.
