Safe Enough To Respray?

Long story short - Landraider has a rather "rough" texture due to spray paint dying on me.

Only noticed it during painting, it can be easily distinguished from smooth areas with a finger.

Should I just respray it or strip it then spray it?? I also have a defiler(unpainted) with a similar problem.

Thanks in advance

Well even if you respray it, you will still be able to see the texture.. Only way really is to strip the model and start over. :(

Chances are your spray dried mid air from heat/wind/poor shaking.

I had this problem with about 20 ork boyz.. I just stripped them. The rough texture will show in the paint and is actually a bit more annoying to pain as the rough texture tends to catch the bristles.

Got an update on the Land Raider (Seems the Defiler didn't have the rough spray after all)

Had to use the brown dettol since the power spray was un available

The raider has had all the paint removed(mostly without me even touching it), just needed a bit of scrubbing to fully take it off the plastic.

It still has the black undercoat which should hopefully come off soon. The rough texture has infact been removed.

Hopefully tomorrow I can scrub it more then wash all the dettol off then it shall be back to painting
