I owned 1500 points of each army, but sold them when the new codexes arrived, as what I owned was basically invalidated.

I'm wondering which people would recommend and why.

Currently, I own 2000 GK and 2000 DE. Both are built to be hyper competitive.

Yosh! That's the solution we'd all love to have, but alas, sometimes it's not possible.

If I had to chose, I'd go with Necrons, simply because I see many more diverse builds with them than I do with nids.
