				<description><![CDATA[ So I am getting a guard army ( money is not an issue for me) and was wondering what type of list I should run against Dark Eldar and how I wouldmuse that list. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'm assuming you want to crush this guy, you terrible person you.<br /> <br /> Well...lets look at it... <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> get pain tokens from killing units, so <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(308);'>MSU</span> is out.  They treat AV14 as AV12, so no leman russes (you're paying heaps of points for the av14, points that could be better used elsewhere)<br /> <br /> They're usually pretty weak - t3 unless it's a haemonculous heavy army - and their vehicles arent even av12, so no need for lascannons or heaps of high strength stuff like meltas.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span><br /> I'd take a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> with an officer of the fleet and grenade launchers/sniper rifles in a chimera.  Depending on points you could take creed and kell, but thats an optional extra and orders are pretty useless in a mechanised army<br /> <br /> A lord commisar with a power fist<br /> <br /> elites<br /> <br /> Marbo if you want to be a dick about it<br /> 10 Stormtroopers <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(471);'>DS</span>'ing with plasma guns, grenade launchers, or melta guns if you want to make sure what you shoot at stays down<br /> Ogryns if you want to be more <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span><br /> Ratlings if you're light on points<br /> <br /> Troops<br /> <br /> I'd take a maxed out blob - 5 squads, commisars, with flamers and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(486);'>PW</span>, with chimeras.  Take as many hvy weapon teams as you can, armed with either autocannon or hvy bolter and stick them in the chimeras you take for the blob.  Add the lord commissar to the blob and just let it simmer<br /> <br /> troops 2 I would go with either another, smaller platoon with chenkov and SITNW of conscripts (as many as you can afford), and a 20-30 man powerblob, or a vet squad with chimera, sniper rifles/grenade launchers and autocannon/hvy bolter<br /> <br /> Alternatively, you could spam the vet squad with chimera, sniper rifles/grenade launchers and autocannon/hvy bolter, adding in Harker for fun.<br /> <br /> Fast Attack<br /> <br /> I'd go with a vendetta or two because hey, 3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>tl</span> lascannons will wreck whatever you want to shoot.<br /> <br /> Maybe a couple of bane wolves or hellhounds could be fun.<br /> <br /> A couple of sentinels with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> could be useful tarpitters too, especially outflanking.<br /> <br /> Hvy Support<br /> <br /> I'll reiterate staying away from the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(89);'>LRBT</span> and variants simply because of the lance weapons<br /> <br /> Some Hydra's always go well if you think they'll take a lot of reavers, because of their special rules<br /> <br /> For ordnance, I'd go with griffons against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span>.  S6 ap4 will instakill them and ignore their armour, and accurate bombardment will make sure it hits.  It's also effective against their vehicles because lets face it, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> vehicles would probably lose in a head-on against a fly.<br /> <br /> If you think they're going to take a lot of nightshields, take a basilisk or 3.
