Appart from that, you've got a nice little army, quite specialized and manoeuvrable. Make sure you concentrate your effort on small parts of the ennemy army at a time and you should be able to blow it off the board bits by bits.

I might get burned alive by the other Dakkaites for saying that but: I think you could break the rule of 3 of the same special weapon in a Vet squad and switch one melta to a flamer. This might help you with hordes and balance your ratio of AT vs AI.

for anti hordes, I'm using the det packs from the doctrine, but once I use those up, I may be in a bit of trouble if they don't do much damage

on the other hand, I might switch out melta squad for a plasma squad for anti infantry, and take out a plasma pistol from a stormtrooper squad

Dependingthey will die before even using it. Plasma is great until you kill yourself. The list is a bit light and very short range.

Might be a good idea to consider HB on the Valks/Vendetta.
