				<title>Start a GK army?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Hi Dakka, <br /> <br /> The family is beginning to get into <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span> and currently we have 4 different armies getting started (Nids, Necrons, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span>, Tau).  The armies were primarily selected based on how cool the models were and unfortunately the 6 year old picked the Tau.  Obviously, that isn't working very well as he doesn't have the tactic skill to react properly yet.  Equally obviously, none of the other brothers will swap with him  <img src="/s/i/a/053f30f6773034eb25223d86f0e00d8d.gif" border="0"> .<br /> <br /> He has now decided Grey Knights is the army for him  <img src="/s/i/a/a0063ed0e1a62441a38f6206bd3f5ad7.gif" border="0"> .<br /> <br /> So, having not played Grey Knights I have 2 questions:<br /> <br /> a)  Does <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> have the strength to compensate for bad tactical decisions?<br /> b)  At the 1000-1500 point level, can anyone suggest a suitable list and have suggestions on a cost effective way to build that list.  We are in Oz, so prices are a bit higher <img src="/s/i/a/7ae18ba11c7ba79f6898e876a4b8ba4a.gif" border="0"> than other countries.<br /> <br /> The preferred play style <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(258);'>atm</span> is stay concentrated in a corner and blast stuff.<br /> <br /> Thanks]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GKs</span>, as with any other Marine army, are very forgiving for inexperienced players.<br /> <br /> If you really want a cheap army you can do a Draigowing army. 2-3 boxes of Terminators, Draigo, and either some Rifleman Dreadnoughts or Dreadknights will complete the army.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GKs</span> arn't a hang back and shoot army.<br /> <br /> They are an army that advances and holds in the 12-24" range with their shooting while also assaulting whats been weakened by their shooting.<br /> <br /> <br /> The only weapons they have over the 24" mark are really Psyfleman dreadnoughts(2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span>-autocannons and Psybolts) everything else is a 24" range weapon.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ To be fair, Draigowing isn't a very forgiving list.<br /> <br /> If your opponent lacks enough anti-paladin weaponry, you've got a pretty good chance but will struggle in objective games. If your opponent is packing enough melta, plasma and other AP2 weapons, you've got a real uphill battle on your hands.<br /> <br /> The strength of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> lies in Dreadnoughts with two twin-linked autocannons and psy-bolts, and cheap strike squads with razorbacks. The other things are nice (Paladins, Purifiers, etc) but they are reasonably balanced. It's the Psyfle dreads and razorback spam that really breaks the list.]]></description>
