				<description><![CDATA[ Without a name, without a soul, and without a face they awaken.<br /> <br /> Attempting a difficult color pattern, or at least what I consider a difficult color pattern. 				<description><![CDATA[ I really like this different approach to Necrons, with a brighter scheme at the forefront. All I can say is that you might want to try a squad with the Heads blue as well, because that would draw some attention back to them. Basically, people look to something's eyes/ head first and foremost, and making those a different colour would help their style a lot. That, and just adding more blue to some of the model, maybe around the gun or something. Right now it just looks like a bit too much yellow. <br /> <br /> Also, I like where the Spyder is going, and I can't wait to see it together.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ My word that is a bright scheme, like the different idea though (than your standard 'rusty gold thing' that necrons tend to go down).<br /> <br /> I suggest for the scarab swarms you mix up some of the large scarabs into the swarms of little ones, it will give much more coverage of the base and will add texture and variety (and it would look like soldier termites among a swarm of workers, or something like that, you know, the whole 'insect swarmy look').<br /> <br /> <img src="/s/i/a/5d13fa41280d6fdef786d41bc175d3f6.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'm really hoping immortals don't have half the flash issues that warriors have.  Took about as long to clean the warriors as it did to paint them.<br /> <br /> Well after attempting several different techniques this is what seems to be working for me.<br /> <br /> Basecoat ceramite white<br /> Boltgun metal on all the joints/metal parts.<br /> Necron compound drybrush the metal parts.<br /> Chaos black wash on the boltgun.<br /> Cleanup any mistakes made with the boltgun/chaos black that strayed off the reservation<br /> 1st yellow coat=50/50 mix of sunburst yellow and lahmain medium.   By this point I'm actually about 2/3 done with the paint job if I count the flash cleaning on a necron warrior.<br /> 2nd yellow coat=cassandora yellow wash<br /> 3rd yellow coat= lamenters yellow glaze<br /> final coat=50/50 mix of sunburst yellow and lahmain medium<br /> <br /> The blue is a simple enchanted blue over ceramite white base with skink blue drybrushing for highlights<br /> <br /> Bright yellow is pain, I can now see why it's such an unpopular color.  I'm starting to get the hang of spyders, and think I will improve on time with every spyder.  Necron warriors are a real timesink though.
