Groundh0g (slowly) learns to paint

Just finished up 3 AoBR nobs, painted in a Bad Moon-esque scheme. I'm embarassed to say how long these guys took me (~15 hours?), although a good portion of that time was fixing up my own mistakes! The bases are still two drybrushes and some static grass away from being finished, and I might also look at painting some Bad Moon flames on the shoulders for some of them. I'd painted roughly 10 minis before these guys, but this marks the first time I've messed with a little battle damage to the armour and more controlled washing.

The fifteen hours were worth it. I've seen people fairly new to painting that rush it so terribly that it would be difficult to fix any mistakes made, but these guys are so good all I can say is that you might want to add a bit more Yellow to the weapons. The guys are good, and I can't wait to see an entire squad of them.

Going to try my hand at some assault termies next, although I'm finding that marines in general are terribly boring to paint.
