I'd look at dreads over speeders and get some more power weapons in. Now if you know you'll fight IG, Eldar and orks, this list might work.

Not a big difference, but what do you think?

The fists are kind of the only power weapons I'd take for 1k, since CC
specialists are expensive, and weaker power weapons are unreliable.

The dread could be always put in a pod with a multimelta, but I think it fits better

so antitank isn't really a problem, and a max of 5 AV11 Against hordes, double tapping,
tankshock + frags or avenger and generally just staying away from them. I don't like melta
speeders/suicide dreads because they die so easily. Typhoons stay alive because they are
fast,´also the 48'' range helps.

Any other comments? I just feel I don't need the multimeltas.

EDIT: On the other hand, I can drop a typhoon and my meltas on the tacs and take 2
