If any of you noble squires have this model, any suggestions on how to make a stable and strong join for the hi-lighted parts?

Worried that using 2 small pins ( one in the base to the stem, the other stem to the main part ) won't take the wait. it's a hefty bit of metal.

1. At the ball connect areas you would probably want to give it a nice rough scoring and cut some crosses all over it for the extra strength.

2. Drill all the way through the little can shape thing, then dry fit it to the spiral thing and drill it through the hole which you already made.

3. Once you have that done dry fit the model upside down with that can thing and drill to the base of the model through the hole of that can thing!
