Our local tournaments use 2-3 tiered objectives per mission, so having a decent amount of Troops is vital.

I was thinking of fielding this:

I just don't see any way to fit a pair of Crypteks for that 3rd Warrior Unit... Minor thing - 4 Hods across three warrior groups. hmmm. Why not drop a HOD and replace with Chronotek (you'll need to drop a particle caster for the extra 5 points).

Then you'll get (in theory), better results from the lancetek squad the chronotek is attached to (because you can re roll (hopefully) either the hit, pen or damage), if the unit get assaulted you can re-roll a reanimation (or a wound) - plus if you can get the aeon stave next to an MC or HQ (and cause a wound) you might be able to nerf a key unit.

I'd put it in the warrior unit without the ark and play that unit almost kamikaze - straight towards MC or lone HQ.

I'll actually be debuting it at a local 3-game tournament next weekend.

I wish I had way to get the 3rd Warrior unit its own Ghost Ark, but I just can't fit it without dropping the Wraiths entirely, which I don't think is wise. These Warriors will probably go in Reserves every game, which is fine given that we'll have several different odd objectives.

As you can see, I have 330 points to spare. Currently, I own 2 Catacomb Command Barges, 8 Crypteks, 1 Triarch Stalker, 20 Warriors, 3 Ghost Arks, 10 Immortals, 6 Wraiths, ~5 Scarabs, and 3 Annihilation Barges.

I'm leaning towards adding a third Warrior squad in a Ghost Ark, but that gets incredibly expensive when you add in 2 more Lanceteks. This may be the path I have to take as I'm worried about having enough scoring units. I've considered Immortals, but I don't think I want a Troop outside of the safety of an Armor 13 vehicle.

I'm wondering if it's necessary to have 2 Lanceteks per squad.

From the core above it would make sense to either go mech, which you add the 3rd GA, or back to your second list.

Re the lanceteks, 2 is better than 1 but 1 is better than 0. Also 1 just means you might have to shoot at something with 2 units rather than 1.

I personally think this is the best list you've posted in here so far, and probably the one that would fair the best in a tournament environment. You've crammed in a lot of necron goodstuff into a list without compromising synergy or a plan and I bet you'll do just fine. I hate being light on whipcoils though, probably for the same reasons I hate trying to make a 15 point investment back from a lone overlord with MSS. In many ways, I look at MSS and SW in the same way I look at ResOrbs. Having them allows my expensive unit to (hopefully) continue living for another turn which is worth it. In my experience, an Overlord without SW/MSS is pretty handicapped outside of the barge, but with them I can do useful stuff for longer. Particularly, MSS is helpful when counter attacking to support another unit or for taking out the power weapon in a squad.

In this list, I suppose you could free up 60 points to get the extra wraith - personal preference as to whether it would be worth it. The SWs would make him absolutely obnoxious against small arms fire and missile launchers. The extra Particle Caster was because I had 5 points leftover.
