I've got a 'friendly' tournament with some mates in a few weeks and I wanted to throw this potential list into the internet and see what people think. I'm aiming for a Dark Angels themed list without using what can only be described as the horrible current rules for DA, and keeping to a cool footslog list, rather than tank spam which I'm used to. Will be playing mostly against MEQ, SoB and Eldar.

So on to the list...

Where is your anti-tank? A single dual melta speeder gets shot down fast and needs to move max 6" to be even able to fire the 2nd melta, while autocannons/plasma struggle against AV 13, and can't do anything vs AV14 if somebody brings a land raider (I would not expect that though) After that, get rhinos for the tacs, and most probably you want to switch you plasma cannons on the drads for more autocannons. Then, I would drop the bikes, you most probably won't need them, and get either predators, multimelta attck bikes, MM/HF speeders, typhoons, or whatever you want depending on your playstyle. For the librarian I recommend avenger and null zone, for the great utility.

After that it'd be like:

Librarian, avenger, null zone

Dreadnought, 2x TL AC

Dreadnought, 2x TL AC

10x tac, plasma, missile, rhino

10x tac, plasma, missile, rhino

And it leaves you 220 points for whatever you want
