				<title>2k ork kan wall for campaign </title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Please let me know what you think of the army I am taking to a 6 week long campaign, same army 6 opponents.  Also please let me know how my list format looks as I need to submit a understandable list and have never been in any tourny type game before. 				<description><![CDATA[ Well to be honest I don't know why you have mixed weapons with kans. You limit your targets and waste shots by doing this. As an example if you need to pop a rhino you have 1 grotzooka one rokkit and one big shoota firing at it. The only thing going to hurt it will be the rokkit. Ensure all your kans are the same in each unit. For your list try doing 2x3 rokkit kans and 1x3 grotzooka cans.<br /> <br /> Your koptas need a saw to be effective. drop one of them and give the other to buzzsaws.<br /> <br /> Your meks do not need cybork and eavy armour. Keep them basic Mekk with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> DONE<br /> <br /> You may want to consider splitting your lootas into 2 units to take advantage of multiple targets. You won't need the mek either, complete waste of points and doesn't help your unit what so ever.<br /> <br /> Hope this helps. At 2000 points you will see lots of vehicles so you NEED rokkits on your kans. You also may want to consider taking 40 boys and making a few 30 man units. This will help keep you moving faster in the tourny and also keep things more organized on the table. Tourneys are tough to do when you have to move that many guys and you may find you don't finish in time.<br /> <br /> Format looks great too.]]></description>

Combine a couple of them into 30 man sqauds to body gaurd you Mek's, then maybe one more squad to come in from reserve.  I also don't like the rokkits on my boys.  I don't feel they will hit enough and you will also be tempted to shoot at things that the shootas can't hurt.  I would also go all shootas.  They are just a better fit for the army. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(71);'>IMHO</span>.</font><br /> elites <br /> 195- 12 lootas, 1 mek <br /> <font color='red'>Love Lootas, I would try to fit in another squad.  I would drop the Mek as well he does nothing for you in there. The added armor is a tough thing for most to deal with.  But keep them cheap, couple Bshootas on them are nice for added Infantry killing and they tend to stay below the enemies radar, for the most part.  The 4x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(571);'>DCCW</span> dread is also nice, but that does see alot <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(600);'>fo</span> fire power coming at it.  but that could also be a good thing.  <br /> <br /> Well hope this helps!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it.<br /> <br /> I like the cybork/armor on my big mek as I will charge them into battle.  as they are right behind the kans they tend to be the next ones into the fray.  I keep seeing how people don't put armor on their big meks, but they must be doing something differently with them then I am.<br /> <br /> to many boys, I don't think I've ever heard that before <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0">  I'm not sure what your suggest skycapt.  would 4 30 boys squads work better? leaving 1 in reserve to start with?  do you think having shoota boys with the big shootas and slugga boys with the rokkits would work better? The other is I feel the Kan wall is a "toys before boys" kind of army.  Lets face in the walkers are the star, and the boys are there for support.  That is the way I feel about it.  i will grant you for a normal Ork list it is "boys before toys".  I think that is a better choice if you were to take the rokkits.  You have the rokkits to shoot open the transports(hopefully) and then assault with the sluggas,  The shootas should stay back and shoot infantry so they would be better with the Bshootas, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(71);'>IMHO</span>.  That is where I would put the Meks by the way. I know it can be tough to find but ask marine players if they have spare missles or what have you.
