The tyrant star seems to appear over a planet for a period of time, during which time all hell breaks loose on the planet. Mutation rates go up, people grow violent and crazed, earthquakes, volcano eruptions, all occur in the coming of the tyrant star, which appears as a black sun in the sky over the world.

Is it Chaos? Is it Xeno? Is it something left over from the Dark Age of Technology? Is it some weird, but natural, phenomenon? Is it something else entirely?
