The distance between the single stars is enormous and the warp is getting 'thin'. Not exactly he arrived in the homesystems and didn't find anything. He only put down the Cythor Fiends not the other empires. The Flayed Ones, Hrud, and the Shapeshifter races are still there including another hive fleet which is actually mutated immensely. Three chapters in fluff are posted there, in DYI, only five other chapters are posted there, not only that but also a few plagues and the Enslaver virus which was pretty bloody bad happened. Then a few other wars, IE Don't go to the ghoul stars they will screw you over.
