I imagine some base, and a couple layers.

All I have right now is abaddon black, mephiston red, evil sunz scarlet, and ceramite white.

For scrolls, I use a buildup of scorched brown - beastial brown - snakebite leather - bleached bone...not sure what the new names for these are, they should be on the conversion chart for the games workshop website.
