I use the usual upgrades on lord, phaeron, orb etc as relentless 40 shot horde of warriors is useful. Needless to say i prefer the shooty kind of list and i was wondering what would be best to add in order to expand up to 1k and 1.5k. a) A pair of stalkers

If you take lanceteks, take solar pulse to protect yourself unitl you get into the deadly 24' range. Or use Imotekh whith a chronometron cryptek. bc most of your army is 24' shooting, night fight won't hurt you much. and as a bonus you get lightning to go with it. (lightning not reliable, but it occasionally does great, especially against rhino spam or a ton of MSU)

I generally find that the Heavy Gauss Cannon keeps the stalker alive.
