				<title>2.5k WoK Mixed, Tounament</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ 2500 Tournament at my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(38);'>FLGS</span>. Warriors are by far the most competitive army I have and at 2.5k I feel like I have to go for the win. So here's what I got so far. <br /> <br /> Chaos Lord wt <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span>, Demonic Mount, Talisman of Preservation, Charm Shield, Sword of Swift Slaying, Potion of Strength- 365 (in the big knight unit)<br /> <br /> Exalted Hero wt <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>BSB</span>, Shield, Dragon Helm, Talisman of Endurance, Biting Blade- 195<br /> <br /> Sorcerer wt <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>Lvl</span> 2 (Death), Necrotic Phylactery, Dispel Scroll, Ironcurse, Shrieking Blade, Conjoined Homunculus- 190 (both in warriors)<br /> <br /> <br /> 23 Warriors wt <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span>, Halberds, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(397);'>FC</span>, Banner of Rage- 453<br /> <br /> 5 Horsemen wt Flails, Lt Armor, Musician- 86<br /> <br /> 5 Horsemen wt Flails, Lt Armor, Musician- 86<br /> <br /> <br /> 8 Knights wt <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(397);'>FC</span>, Razor Standard- 415<br /> <br /> 5 Knights wt <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(99);'>MoK</span>, Lances, Standard, Musician, Banner of Eternal Flame- 295<br /> <br /> 6 Ogres wt <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(99);'>MoK</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span>, Chaos Armor, Standard, Musician- 360<br /> <br /> Spawn- 55<br /> <br /> The knights with lances are 'cause someone pointed out to me that <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(99);'>MoK</span> states "the model has frenzy." As far as I can tell this means both the rider and horse have frenzy (and thus Extra Attack as well as Berserk Rage) since they are one model with a combined profile. Lances allow me to use the flame banner while the extra attacks from the mounts help to counter the weakness of not always being S5. <br /> <br /> I'm not a huge fan of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 4s (magic being way unpredictable), but swapping the wizard and the lord is possible. If anyone has a good sorc lord or hero build to be mounted on demonic steed I'd love to hear it.<br /> <br /> So anyone got any ideas?]]></description>

That way I can put points into the runeshield on my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>BSB</span> thus negating all magic items on the enemy unit that are in contact with him and my level 4]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ do you have any other models or is this what you own? most competitive builds use big blocks of khorne marauder great weapons to be the anvil to hold up units as well as doing some damage in the process. the  tzeentch warriors  work fine as anvil units but the ogres are iffy.  <br /> <br /> honestly <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span> chaos knights arnt worth it in 8th edition as a 60  rat unit of skaven slaves will hold it up untill a hell pit flanks you and its over. steadfast ruined heavy cav. heavy cav with  a mark of tzeentch blasted standard and halbreds with at least ten plus knights might make a good anvil unit  as there survivability is great. but at 500+ points its alot to throw in a ten man unit. just ten wounds and that unit is gone compared to 2 40 main khorne <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>gw</span> marauder units  for nearly the same price.<br /> <br /> also lacking any hellcannons your going to find it hard to take down artilery.  you would think  your marauder horsemen are your warmachine hunters but they should be busy harrassing or redirecting.<br /> <br /> speaking of redirecting is that what the loan spawn is for? hes not great at it because of the random movement. i would suggest getting my hands on some chaos warhounds. 2 five hound units at 30 points apeice are great redirecters, handgun and arrow cushions first turn.<br /> <br />  I had always thought the horses didnt get an attack from frenzy but that may be new to 8th. in the old book it stated in the mark of khorne that mounts dont get frenzy. idk much more research should be done on this.<br /> <br /> what kind of armies does your metagame have for your area? are you playing <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span>'s with the peg lord and sorcerores dagger? slann temple star? ogre kingdoms iron gut star running 2 iron blasters? dwarven and empire gunlines? 300 slave and 2 HPA skaven armies? you have to take this all into account in a competitive build. hope my info helps you out. good luck and remember BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Ya, the problem with marauders is... well everytime I play a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(385);'>WoC</span> army with my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(138);'>VC</span> or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> or even the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(385);'>WoC</span> they are the weakest part of my opponents army. T3? Infantry? Please. Damn good for their points but I've never had 'em do anything worth while to me. <br /> Knights on the other hand dont get stomped, have 1+ saves and cannot be dreaded 13ed. They aint great at the breaking units anymore but thats where the rest of the army comes in. Supporting the knights. Its kind of a kill everyone doctrine.<br /> <br /> The lord Im not dead set on but i want to keep the knights which means keeping a mounted character. Frankly wizards in a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(385);'>WoC</span> army never seem to do as much as a lord. People fear the lord, all they fear about the wizard is gateway. 				<description><![CDATA[ If I'm running sorc lord I usually use shadow, or Slaanesh for seizuring away half of units on an 8. Marauders aren't bad at all at S7 from Okkams or if your opponent is hexed. Also, plop Festus in there and you're looking at poison and a 5 up regen. Galrauch is a monster (pun intended) for having 3 breaths and Gate. I can just never justify the point sink when he's only looking at a 6 up ward.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ you can do the festus shadow combo. festus with curse of the leper and shadow magic taking away toughness or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> untill its 0 and the whole unit is gone. i have done it before just to try it out. its a lil gimicky kinda like ogre death/ greedy fist sniping but it can work. doesnt hurt to not try. shadow magic and tzeentch magic is top 5 magic lores in game.  sor lords are worth there points as they have the potential to kill entire units. chaos lords people fear but they usually dont give back there 300+ points you would put in a properlly kitted out lord. chaos lords just arnt worth it anymore because of the new step up rule and steadfast.  if they didnt have step up then i would be taking a chaos lord in every game as a chaos lord would probably go first and kill the whole front rank by themselves usually. your chaos lord might kill 6 guys but that 50 man block unit  with 10 ranks and steadfast will have to roll under  the generals leadship twice( if the player is good and kept the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>bsb</span> close). so now they are just waiting untill there hammer unit hits you in the flank or rear whether its tomb guard, temple guard swordmasters ect.  at that point its lik gg guy.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I will echo what has been said about the Chaos Lord; been there done that. Tried one on a manticore, daemonic mount, chaos steed and on foot, and they just don't make their points back. The only true competitive Chaos Lord build I have seen is on a disc with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span>, 1+ armor, 3+ ward and crown of command as a dreadlord on pegasus style build.<br /> <br /> Level 4 is best on a disc with either golden eye of tzeentch or talisman of preservation. Give him third eye of Tzeentch and bloodcurdling roar for insane flexibility. Puppet is a must.]]></description>

Its much easier in this edition for mounted units to hit Ranked troops and just get bogged down, cause they have a hard time breaking the unit they charged.  Even your ogres with have problems (I believe) cause  they don't use the impact hit rules like "regular ogres".<br /> <br /> Looking at your list, I see only one unit of rank and file troops (2 if you count the ogres).  I think thats a big problem.  I would try to adjust your list by shaving your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(385);'>WoC</span> down to maybe 18, drop the smaller knight unit, and maybe drop a marauder horseman unit, then build a second block of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(385);'>WoC</span>.<br /> <br /> Chaos Marauders are cheap filler units that actually aint that bad, if you get huge blocks of them (40-50).  They can also help extend your frontage.  If you park them with/near the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>bsb</span>, you can improve their staying power.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

They can grind and are great during prolonged combats. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(99);'>MoK</span> Knights have 5 attacks per model. A unit of 5-8 will chew through a 50 block of halberdiers or stormvermin in several rounds of combat.]]></description>
