Wire-O Question

I really think that a rulebook, instead of being Hardcover or Softcover Perfect Bound (current paperback GW codexes), using Wire-O binding would be awesome.

How cool would it be to have rulebooks that will lie flat on a table, on whatever page you decide to put them on? You'd want to use heavier stock paper, maybe uv coated, to have some degree of protection from Mountain Dew and Cool Ranch Doritos.

I know they did it with the new painting book... I think it should be done with all books pertaining to table top wargaming.

What do you think?

The Wire-O would suck for stacking multiple books, or putting on a shelf. On the other hand, books can suck to read in bed too... it's a tossup... I'd at least like to see both options offered, sure it's another SKU, but why not?

Re:Wire-O Question

It's a pain turning the pages, they're very easy to damage, and they're annoying to stack and shelve. I think it was an interesting/good choice for the painting guide, where in theory you'll be looking at one page for a long time, but for other stuff I wouldn't favor it.

Or you could slice off the spine and put it into a binder with the cover of the front. Probably last longer in there rather than the wire-o
