On the one hand you will get two to choose from and the brood lord is tough enough to get close enough to use its powers and the once that are CC oriented are brutal.

However, the brood lords current psychic powers are really good (and great for challenges) and with a BS of 0 if you role a shooty power you won't get much out of it.
