				<description><![CDATA[ If I could bring around one of my ideas from the Penthouse that was never developed:<i><br /> <br /> The city of Fade is filled with corruption and dishonesty; from petty pickpocketing to full-blown assassinations of the rich and famed, crime is the lifeblood of the industrial city. Whether it be in the sky upon one of the gracious air vessels, or in the very depths of the inner slums, the law will try to protect. However, with the scale and size of the city, it is impossible to keep up with the tide of depravity. In desperation, the ruling castes have called upon citizens to turn to vigilantism. You are one of these freelancers; a detective, vying to uncover the secrets of Fade for whatever reason you envision. Perhaps you have heard rumours of untold riches, or you are hoping for a life of renown?</i><br /> <br /> Make a character along this template:<br /> <br /> Name:<br /> <br /> Gender:<br /> <br /> Age:<br /> <br /> Appearance:<br /> <br /> Personality:<br /> <br /> Equipment*:<br /> <br /> Skills:<br /> <br /> *This includes everything, from weaponry to magnifying glasses. Yes, you may be called upon to fight somebody.<br /> <br /> So, the plan is to create a case for you to solve in game. You'll be set an area to investigate, i.e. The Crimson Secret (one of the ruler's airship) and be given a description of the area, along with possibly a map. You will get 3 actions to use; you may move to somewhere for one, and you may examine an object for one (you will have a description, remember, so no pulling things out of the blue). If you have uncovered a clue, I will make a post about it in the next <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(524);'>GM</span> posting turn. Occasionally I may spring something on you in the thread, i.e. an axe-wielding maniac. Deal accordingly, don't pull out any magical weapon that may smite anybody with a tap of it's blade. Try to keep it inkeeping with the theme. At the end of a case, when you have gathered all the clues, you will choose from a list of suspects to try and find out whodunnit. If you powerplay, i.e. shoot another player in the leg with a pistol or something similar, I'll first ask for it's removal. If you refuse, I'll ask again, but you cannot participate in the scene.
