What with 6th coming out I figure it's the perfect time to get re-energized. Even though I've been collecting models for a few years now I've never painted an entire army or even played a full game. Those are two things I hope to change in the near future.

I tend to be more of a fluff nut than anything else. I'm somewhat of a bibliophile in that regard. When it comes to which armies I play I guess I worship at the alter of Phil Kelly I've collected Orks, Space Wolves, and Dark Eldar. Except for Wolves I don't really have enough in the way of models to play a full game. I'm hoping to collect more Dark Eldar and Orks to flush out my armies.

Anyway, I'm hoping that starting a painting blog will keep me motivated as well as show off my painting skills, as bad as they are

I'm sure you've already been inspired by the work on display in the gallery, but if it's motivation you're after, then starting a painting blog is a good idea, since then you might feel like you're doing it for others to see, rather than just for yourself. Always good motivation when you don't want to let others down...
