Desperate allies makes it so that the allied detachment are non-denial, on top of what they already were.

While what you say makes sense in a world where sense exist

In the rule book, even those it says AoC are enemies, it doesnt specify that they cannot capture/deny

Then in Desperate it goes on to specify that they also cannot capture/deny
