That is REALLY good. The only fault I can find is the hilt of the sword looks a bit rough, and you need a duster can for the dust.

You have only painted around 10 minis and you pull out something like this ??

Grats mate seriously good job. My only thing might be to add more shading to the gun.
But the detail work on the legs etc looks very nice.

That guy looks sweet! I'm so terrible on that detail on eyes, nice job

You should try taking some photo's with a white background, like a sheet of paper with 2 or 3 light sources from different angles. It gives a much better colour balance and will do your mini justice. Keep painting!

BrotherVord wrote:I would clean up the blade as well as the hilt...also I would apply a blue wash over select portions of the model and add a light drybrushing of a brighter silver

That's why I don't like to paint Grey Knights, painting metal/chrome is much harder than slapping on a metallic paint.
Yeah the metal parts will look a lot better with some good shading and highlighting. Some black (or perhaps blue would look better) ink in the crevices and some silver metallic paint for the highlights - yeah drybrushing will work well here.

Aw man - look at that sword, and those eyes
nice!

Great blending on the sword, I've tried to pull that off with only moderate success.
And the eyes look white hot with the fury of the emperor!

Something you might want to try on a future model like this is Object Source Lighting (OSL)
That is, making some parts look like they're giving off light.
This would look good on the eyes especially, and maybe those blue tubes feeding into the gun.
Its a more advanced technique, but judging by this model I think you can pull it off.

Really nice job! You could consider adding some bluish tint on the armour as it gives more contrast between golds and silvers.
