Seeker Cavalcade: Facepuncher or face to be punched?

Okay, been looking at the Chaos Daemons Update, and most of the stuff seems pretty straightforward to me. (Flamers got better, Screamers now rock, and Hellflayers seem to suck)

Seeker Cavalcades, on the other hand, seem to be ridiculously cheap for what they can do.

(1) The chariot has the daemon rule. Hence, it causes fear (who cares) and more importantly, has a 5++ save.
(2) For 120 points, you get 3 seeker chariots. At full strength, on the charge, that means 6d6 (for an average of 21 S4 Rending Hammer of Wrath attacks. Which means, that 120 point unit, on the charge, will, on average, inflict approximately 7 savable wounds and 3 unsaveable wounds. Against vehicles, you're looking at an average of 3 or so penetrating hits against AV10 rear armor, and 2 against AV11 rear armor. That doesn't seem too shabby. Sure, the chariots are made of paper...but they're dirt cheap.
(3) The exalted seeker chariots hit even harder, but don't gain anything in the way of surviability (which tends to make me think that they're not worth it).
(4) This is what I'm unsure of here...even if the rider dies, the chariot can still charge?

Does my thinking seem out of line here? I'm theorizing that full-size seeker chariot squadrons are, while not game-winners on their own, effective for their cost and a worthy addition to a competitive list.

I think for their pts cost they are worth getting, sure they are pretty fragile but they do move pretty quick.

I think taking an exalted with 2 seeker chariots would be good for getting some extra d6's of hits in.

The 40 point chariots are a great deal, but there is a side effect. They are large, and wrecked chariots will make it very difficult for other vehicles to move around. If a battlefield clustered with wrecks and craters would hurt the opposition more then you chariots sound nice.

Their size can be a worry when you DS, but there is less chance of getting a destroyed result on a mishap now. Can always use icons too.

I would worry more about it being immobilized from landing in dangerous terrain and/or failing a dangerous terrain test trying to move out of whatever it landed in/on. They can drop relatively far apart from each other, then turbo-boost on arrival, move next turn and charge. Essentially, they can drop 32" away from their intended targets (12" boost, 12" move, average 8" charge), and still hit their targets, while benefiting from a 4+ cover save on the turn they arrive.
